Friendly staff, stylish and quirky decorations, spacious room, comfortable beds, and toiletries smell amazing, what’s not to like? Shame we only stayed for one night, will definitely come back if we visit Belfast again.

A very well-located hotel. The lobby also looks quite nice! Check-in was smooth. The room was spacious; since we booked a family room, there was also a sofa. Overall, we were very satisfied with the room. However, it's worth mentioning that the sink in the bathroom was clogged, which made it impossible to use, and it was also leaking. The soundproofing was not good; we could hear people talking in the next room. There were a lot of people checking out in the morning. I hope there can be improvements!

Stayed here in March, 2023, and could not fault anything whatsoever. The hotel is in a very central location, within easy walking distance of all the main tourist attractions. Rooms were large and well maintained and the breakfast buffet offered a wide choice. Whilst often the hot elements of hotel buffets are served warm/lukewarm at best, here the hot buffet was served very hot and the quality of the ingredients was excellent. Final word must be regarding the staff. All the staff we interacted with, from the booking team through to the front desk staff, were absolutely first class and they could not do enough to assist you, from our need to change the dates of our booking due to a cancelled flight, right through to arranging a taxi back to the airport for us. All the staff were a real credit to the company and give an excellent impression, from a customer service perspective.

Nous sommes restées 5 nuits dans cet hôtel très bien placé puisque proche des curiosités de la ville mais horriblement mal placé car juste à côté d'une boite qui met de la musique techno à fond . Incroyable : malgré les deux fenêtres, on pourrait croire être isolées, et bien pas du tout ! Hyper bruyant, impression de dormir dans une boite. Autre point négatif : le ménage n'a JAMAIS été fait lors de notre séjour ( alors qu'on avait mis l'affiche à la porte ) et une fois nos serviettes sales par terre devant la porte de la chambre ! Dernier point négatif : aucune intimité car il n'y a pas de salle de bain ( la douche donne directement dans la chambre , face à une glace ) et le lavabo est juste à côté du lit. Par contre, boissons chaudes à volonté toute la journée et gentillesse du personnel à la réception. Petit déjeuner correct.

Il s'agit d'un hôtel express sous la bannière de Holiday Inn. Les installations et les services sont très bons et c'est de la qualité des étoiles. De nombreux hôtels en Europe sont très vieux, mais cet hôtel est assez moderne.

I booked through *********** for one night as I was attending a football match. I picked this location as I was near the stadium and I had tried other parts of the City previously. I should have stuck with my previous hotel. The room was extremely hot even though it wasn’t in full sun. I was put in room 10 which is at the top of the building in what looks like a converted loft in the roof space. It was 2.30pm when I checked in. I had not been sent the previously notified email with the door entry code and room entry code. It is all done this way as it is supposed to be a self service booking in process. That failed. On arrival at the door having received no entry instruction I called the number on a sign outside. I got no reply. A man then arrived with his child asking was I booking in and he took me through the process. He directed me to room 10 which is on the fourth floor. No lift. At 3.30pm I reported my concerns about the stifling heat in the room to the staff though their whattsapp number. No response for a while and then they said they would send up housekeeping which was the same man who booked me in. I explained the heat was unbearable and concerned for how it would be at night. I also said that when I opened the window the traffic noise was unbearable. He said they were full and there was nothing he could do. Only suggested putting on a plug in fan. I reported back through whattsapp to say that I wasn’t happy and what else could be done. I had a broken telephone call via whattsapp with Niamh who was a bit sarcastic and unhelpful and didn’t offer any solution and basically said they are a city enter hotel so what did I expect. It was rush hour and traffic would die down (which it didn’t). I asked to escalate the complaint. I had a call from Christine Warren who was also unsympathetic, said it was unprecedented weather for Belfast but failed to recognise my concern and that it was cooler outside than in the room. She said all of their other rooms (75) in the city were booked but I could check out if I wanted and find another hotel. Difficult in the timeframe as it was now 5pm and I was off to the match. She also commented “what do you expect for the money you paid” (£85). I asked if she would offer a reduction but this was refused. I felt I had no alternative. When I returned to the room at 10.15pm having left the window open and the fan on, it was no different. I didn’t sleep all night. Aesthetically this location looks good but the lower rated scores here do tell a story of less than luxury and consistent poor staff and management attitude when you raise a concern. The rooms are tiny and definitely not luxury. Towels were thin, dust in the bedside locker and walls paper thin which was also reported. Breakfast was adequate but only cereals,coffee toast and some basic looking cheese and ham with a few stale croissants. A chain I will be avoiding in the future.

L'hôtel était bon et propre. Un peu sur le côté coûteux pour les boissons. Le petit déjeuner était moyen et un coûteux pour la qualité. Le restaurant de l'hôtel (la scala) était un niveau tout à fait différent. La nourriture était étonnante. Surtout le bébé. Ma femme avait le poulet qui était fait pour la perfection. Si vous allez faire un voyage tranquille, cet hôtel peut être pour vous. Si vous allez dans le cadre d'un voyage à Belfast, il est très loin de la ville. Environ 20 livres dans chaque direction.
