Hotel Voramar

I Stayed here in August for a weekend away with friends. Great hotel with a pool on the roof with a bar😁 close to the beach and bars. Breakfast was good. Room spacious and clean would def come back again and would recommend to family and friends 😁

Firstly, it isn’t a 4 star hotel. The rooms are clean, spacious and if you get a balcony that’s a plus. Ours looked out at a brick wall though. No kettle or bottled water, but there is a little shop next door you can get 5L for €1. We didn’t eat or sample the entertainment so can’t comment on that. Lots of places to eat within 5 mins walk( noteworthy mention for amigos) Roof terrace was lovely and chilled but I imagine in peak you will be fighting for a sunbed as they are limited. The building works next door didn’t bother us at all through out our stay. The reason I said it isn’t 4*, is that we felt it is more a budget room, with a 4* lobby. We enjoyed it, we know what we payed (peanuts) and we got exactly what we expected. Would recommend and book again, the location is fantastic right by the beach in old town and 20 mins to walk to the new town *****!

Lovely hotel in a great location. Stayed 4 nights bed and breakfast. Our room on 3rd floor was at the back no real veiw but no noise . The room was very clean no issues at all .we had to sleep with balcony door open because air con in hotel wasnt switched on yet and it was warm in room. The breakfast was very nice plenty of choice. Nice bar area . Great little roof top pool and bar area.nice sun trap mind pool was cold still earl in season. Friendly staff would definitely stay again

Awful pictures u see online are not what u get at all ….. the lobby were u first walk in looks amazing 4 star there then u walk up the stairs to the first floor as soon as you turn the corner out of site of the lobby the whole look changes dated and old … we had a superior room nothing superior about it came on to the balcony staring straight at a building site a busy road a taki rank that did nothing but beep horns all day and night and a panoramic view of the sea yes if your a giraffe and can bend your neck ten mile over the balcony the food the food was awful we went full board what a massive waste of money that was barely ate in there it was cold and tasted of apsolutly nothing at all !! Last day went to reception to hand keys in leave luggage to be collected later woman couldn’t even get off the phone took card pointed to a room to shove bags and that was it so so rude !!! Please avoid this hotel and before anyone says why didn’t you complain when you were there well after reading the reviews all I could think was I can complain and get the room that’s facing the brick wall !!! Clearly do not like English at this hotel either and defently not worth the money we paid at all at most this hotel deserves a 2 star defently no more !!! The pool I’ve seen bigger puddles the drinks on the roof top we’re awful had one up there on leaving half the wooden floor lifted up when walking on it and tripped over it and had to go and place the flooring back as there was a hole underneath it … views if u like looking at wires tops of buildings walls and building sites then Ure well away lol …. Dried chewing gum stuck to the walls . Not even a ash tray on the balcony or in the room
