Staff were very helpful and polite. The room was clean and quite spacious. They have a cute bar/ cafe downstairs to chill. Restaurants and cafes are literally 2 mins walk away. A 5-7 mins walk to the mall and metro/ train station. Just one point to highlight, during the night, the area can be poorly lit so single travelers are advised to plan accordingly. Otherwise, no complaints as such!

Our 3-night stay at this hotel for a city break was fantastic. The convenient location near public transport made exploring easy. The staff’s friendliness added a welcoming touch, and the rooms provided a great environment. Overall, a chilled atmosphere made our stay enjoyable.

Had my camera stolen from our room on the 18th of September, Most likely during a fire alarm going off and the hotel being evacuated. Cost to replace is over 4000 euro. The insurance company offered 800 euro then upped it to a 1000 but stated that Moxy hotels do not accept liability. . Police informed but the hotel said we must have left the door open, even though we tested the door and it closed on its own as its a heavy fire door. This was most definitely an inside job.. If anything gets stolen they will claim it was your own fault and you will get offered a fraction of what your stolen goods are worth. I am now in a fight to get the money that I am owed to replace my equipment.DO NOT STAY AT A MOXY HOTEL

Disappointed with my stay this time - this hotel seems to have gone downhill since my last stay in 2019. Arrived in the vening, and upon check-in there seemed to be some issues with the staff, had no idea what it was. The guy told me that today the bar, usually open 24 hr closed at 10 PM. Got to my room and it was more spacious than the room I had in 2019 - extra space is nice. Little later I went down to buy a water and chips from the lobby kiosk, then a guy appeared and told me, in German, it was not possible. The kiosk was also closed. Strange! He did not speak a single word of English, but as I understood, the reception would be unstaffed for the remainder of the night. He said he was the security guy (if I got it correctly). Weird! Later in the evening my room got colder and colder. Only 4-5 degrees celcius in Berlin during the evening/night, and no heating in the room. The radiators were turned on max, but did not heat, so the room got very cold and uncomfortable. The guy in the lobby had no idea of what I was saying. I went to bed and woke up in the very cold room, still no heat. Felt little unwell as well. Very disappointed over this stay since my last stay was pleasant. Usually I enjoy the Moxy brand, with it's lively bars and so on. But this hotel was just cold and dull. Was a true pleasure to check out and walk 20 meters further up the road to the AC Hotel, where the bar is open and the in-room radiators are working. On a positive note - I like the location. Gesundbrunnen shopping centre is just across the street. So is the train station - with direct connections to Berlin Airport (twice an hour). You can easily get around Berlin from this location. There is a REWE futher down the road - open till midnight. Convenient when the lobby kiosk is closed. And the girl who did my check-out was very nice and friendly! Just like it should be at a Moxy :)

The front desk staff made the trip so comfortable. My parents arrived earlier than us and even though they couldn’t check in early, the staff stored their bags and gave great recommendations nearby for lunch. Lizzy and Simone were so kind and made us feel so special, they were wonderful. Lizzy suggested the restaurant Lichtburg which was delicious and we went back 3 times. Thank you to Lizzy and Simone!

Hotel is in a good location only a few minutes away from Gesundsbrunen station which is well serviced. There are some homeless/drunk people in the park beside the hotel but we had no issues. Unfortunately I could not recommend this hotel due to the staff. We booked through ********** and there was an issue with them not having paid despite us paying in full which caused some issues. Check in was slow and the worker tried to over charge us for the tax. Check out was horrific. The staff member was extremely frustrated with my mum due to ********** offering a lower rate and again, the hotel trying to over charge us with fees as “he couldn’t calculate it based on the ridiculous rate we paid”. He got very defensive and rude and it put a sour tone on the trip, additionally it took 30 mins to check out and the issue still isn’t solved. We have currently been charged twice and I am waiting on this being sorted. Pretty disappointed

Made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Rooms were lovely and clean, comfortable and functional. Breakfast was great with plenty of options and take away available too. The perfect base for sightseeing around Berlin. Would definitely go again.

This hotel is in a great location with plenty of shops, food options and public transport nearby. Staff are very friendly and accommodating, the room was spacious, lovely shower and nice air conditioning. Only downfall was no fridge in our room. It was very warm when we visited and it would have been nice to be able to have cold drinks in our room. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.
