Meininger Hotel Berlin Mitte

It takes only a few minutes from central railway station to get to Menninger Hotel by tram. Also it is within walking distance to main tourist attractions in Berlin. We booked 6-bed room for 5 people. The room is spacious with 2 sets of bund bed and 2 ceiling high beds which is fun yet provided that you are not height phobia. It is an extra merit that the toilet is separated from the bathroom for a family stay.

This is a very nice hotel for the price point. It is in a perfect location to get to the heart of Berlin. The subway stop is right outside the door. The service was great and the breakfast was decent.

the room, despite the request, was not cleaned. upon our reporting, the reception staff (especially the German girl with long black hair) proved to be very rude and impolite. she scoffed and begged me to write a negative review, which I promptly did. I wonder how they select the staff in this hotel.

Great value hotel, convenient location and really helpful, friendly staff. We arrived after having a long day and the staff were really helpful. We had an issue with our booking through ***********, explained the issue, which was swiftly resolved, they were amazing!

The hotel is in a very convenient location for all the major sights, right next to an S-Bahn station and within walking distance to Alexanderplatz, Friedrichstrasse etc. Our double room was very small but comfortable. The shower was small, too, but otherwise great. The beds were very comfortable, but unfortunately the walls are paper thin. We had an issue with noise in the room next to us, but staff dealt with it very quickly. We were very surprised by the quality of the breakfast, it was amazing. The rolls were perfect and there was a wide choice of breads, sausage, cheese and jams, plus eggs, beans, cereals and salad (!?). Avoid busy times though, because it was carnage one morning when all the families descended into the breakfast room at once. The staff we encountered were all very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. They also have a room where you can leave your luggage before check-in and after check-out. I'd definitely recommend this place for travellers with children.

There was only one veggie option at dinner, which was just potatoes and nothing else. Another dish was told to be nut free, however it turned out to actually have nuts, which was very problematic as someone with a nut allergy had started to eat it. The drinks machine ran out and the apple juice was so diluted it looked like water. Although the beds were comfy, the sheets were bobbly and clearly very old and the pillows were so flat we had to ask for more. There was loud music playing into the early hours of the morning so it was hard to sleep. We were also woken up at ungodly hours due to metal trolleys being moved outside our rooms. I also had an emergency healthcare package delivered, but reception refused to accept it so the package has now been lost with Fedex. The audacity of this hostel to call itself a hotel is OUTRAGEOUS!!!

We spent 2 nights at the hotel, this is very well located to the subway and main attractions in the city. The service was very good and polite. The room was clean, modern and with enough space to sleep well.

Hotel in ottima posizione a costo non troppo elevato camere semplicissime ma comunque confortevoli personale alla reception 24h su 24. Colazione abb buona. Sicuramente torneremo in uno degli altri hotel della catena. Consigliato a chi non vuole spendere troppo senza rinunciare ad alcuni confort

Primero que nada, excelente atención por parte de Victoria, muy amable y atenta! Con relación al desayuno, muy rico y variado. Por otro lado, Las habitaciones impecables. Para terminar, volvería sin dudas al hotel en la siguiente visita a Berlin.
