All Iron Hostel

They have BEDBUGS. The hygiene is extremely below par. They only provide a mattress cover and a single sheet, no pillow case. They do NOT clean the beds, they wash the sheet, and then recycle the duvet by just putting it on a different bed (no cleaning at all). The beds are not cleaned at all. The showers were only cleaned once when I was there (4days), even though all dorms were full. Nothing of the dorm was actually cleaned, only vacuumed (at 9 in the morning with a full dorm)

Other than the place being clean and cheap (though not cheap enough for the quality), not a place I recommend. First, when I came to check in, the person at the desk was showing someone around, saw me, and ignored. No “just a minute” or “I’ll be with you in a sec”. Small, but usually you’re at least acknowledged. The bed and sleep were fine but have headphones if you’re a light sleeper. The shower is a timed shower. So, you have to press the button to keep it on which doesn’t allow it to warm up. (Just hold it down for awhile and you’ll get some lukewarm water). People were allowed to sleep on the sofas in the public space. The breakfast didn’t open til about 810 (the kitchen stays locked from 1045p until then). I was rudely told to wait when I just wanted some hot water for my personally brought coffee. A few things that occurred which aren’t directly the hostel’s fault but just gives some insight: a guy taking a number two with door wide open, a guy washing his feet in the sink where you brush your teeth, a couple in the male shower together in the morning, a guy walking around in his underwear back and forth in the public areas, music on in main areas all day. Needless to say, I ended my stay early.

Horrible experiencia. No sabría ni por dónde empezar. La primera noche me desperté con UN MONTÓN DE PICORES en el cuerpo y granos de picadas. Hablé con el chico que había en recepción, explicándole amablemente que quizás tenían chinches y su única solución fue cambiarme las sábanas. LO TÉTRICO EMPIEZA AHORA que ese mismo día al volver por la noche de dar una vuelta uno de los trabajadores (supuestamente el VIGILANTE) me estaba esperando con LAS LUCES APAGADAS y empezó a echarme en cara la queja que yo había puesto, se me encaró y me increpó hasta que me metí en la habitación (todo a oscuras). Salí de la habitación con un amigo porqué no quería ir sola al baño y nos lo encontramos en el pasillo donde SIGUIÓ PERSIGUIÉNDONOS e increpando nos a oscuras y no dejó (literalmente) que mi amigo me acompañara al baño. Se esperó que yo saliera y ahí empezó de nuevo a increparme ya más VIOLENTAMENTE, cosa que yo ya le contesté y al discutir se me encaró y empezó a decirnos que el hacia boxeo y que había trabajado de segurata, que cuidado con él que no iba a poder poner una queja porqué todo pasaba por él. Nos metimos en la habitación mientras el nos seguía increpando detrás y casi no dormimos pensando que entraría. A la mañana siguiente hablé con una chica que había en recepción para poner una reclamación y explicarle todo y él se quedó detrás escuchando todo lo que hablábamos y pasó por detrás mío y me empujó. La chica se negó a darme la hoja de reclamaciones diciendo que no tenían (cosa que es ilegal) y básicamente que vale, que si quería que escribiera en una hoja lo que había pasado y ella se lo daría al jefe (que supuestamente no estaba). Literalmente el hotel del terror. Tienen a un trabajador VIOLENTO Y AGRESIVO, lo saben y no hacen nada.
