Four Points by Sheraton Bintan, Lagoi Bay

An amazing place for a relaxing weekend getaway! The atmosphere is peaceful and less crowded, perfect for those who want to unwind. The service was absolutely tip-top — every staff member was polite and attentive throughout our stay. The food was excellent, and a special mention goes to the Executive Chef, who was friendly and accommodating, making our dining experience feel truly special. It really added a personal touch to the trip. Overall, it was a wonderful stay — we enjoyed every moment and will definitely come back again!

The hotel has free shuttle bus service from the ferry terminal. The staff are friendly and approachable. They allowed early check in before 3pm. The location is good, near Lagoi bay. The Lagoi Plaza is just 5 mins walk from the hotel. We had a nice lunch and dinner at Warung Yeah. There are some mini marts there. We can buy some snacks and drinks there. The Lagoi beach is beautiful. My son enjoyed the sand play there. We had a wonderful stay at Four points!

Highly recommended! The staff were all friendly and attended to our needs. Room was clean and location was amazing. Will definitely book again when we go Bintan!

In short: 4 points For Sheraton:) Suitable for couples who want spent time at the pool and var for max 2-day. Not suitable for families with small kids. Price/performance is in low end We visited with our 1.5 years daughter for 3 nights with a full board (including lunch and dinner) option and stayed at the pool view cabana room. Room: Quite basic amenities. Cleaning is average, this is a new hotel but quite surprised with stains. Similar quality hotels offer much better amenities (such as nespresso, mini bar, etc) not essential but better. My biggest concern, according to images on the website, it looks like there is a grass area in front of the room, which we were planning to have time with our toddler, but in reality it is the only concrete corridor connecting your room to the main pool. There is a space as a terrace but there is no shading, which makes it practically not usable due to heavy sun or rain (photo). Pool/Seaside: Ocean is very shallow and there is warning for jellyfish and black tarr, makes it not swimmable. The pool is 1.2 m deep and small in size. As there isn't any other attraction most of the guests are around the bar or pool which makes the are stuffed. There are electrical cables around the pool's main entrance (photo). Eating: There are two restaurants, main and poolside bar. We took a full dining package. During the weekend they offer a menu (starter, main, desert and soft drink), feels like worth the price. Cocktails at the poolside bar are quite good, but the food was more like cheap fast food quality. For the food the main restaurant is a better choice. The issue is there are choices for around 10 mains, if you stay longer, it can be boring. During the weekend it was buffet lunch and dinner at the main restaurant. Not much healthy choice for toodlers. Facilities: Very poor. We want to use the kids club as there is not much shade outdoors and no facilities than a poolside bar. I have never experienced a poorer kids club. There are several tables, several toys and a TV. (Even not a ball pit which is quite standard). There is a playground, consisting of a slide and two slings outdoors without shade under the hot sun (or rain). There are lots of sharp corners, and heavy doors without protection of hinges for kids. An unacceptable amount of safety hazards for toddlers in the kids club.. Staff: the only positive about the hotel is the very welcoming staff. Always smiling and very helpful. Just as a new hotel, some of them are under trained. Overall, it feels like the hotel is rushed, without good planning and execution. Poor amenities and facilities. Not much attraction. Families with kids, it is not safe.

We come to Bintan for the first time and chose to stay at Four Points. When we booked the room, we mentioned that this trip was to celebrate our anniversary and hoped the hotel could help a small decoration. To our surprise, they also upgraded our room to Cabana Suite. We were very satisfied with the service at the hotel. We’ll definitely come back next time. Highly recommended! 🤩😬

I got to say that their service is top notch. Everyone greets you with a smile. Sea sports activities is right at the beach! Food at the western restaurant is not to our expectations but the morning buffet at the asian restaurant is very good. The variety i got to say is impressive. Sheets in the hotel room can see stain marks and thw fabric is little rough. But overall, we are very happy. Staff recommended us good place to have kelong seafood and also a cheaper place for ATV.
