This small family hotel is well run by Christina, her husband, with help from staff and on occasion their children. On arrival you are welcomed into the reception/bar/dining area by Christina, the first impression was how this small hotel is setting high standard. Room: We booked a room which provided a double bed and sofa bed for myself, my wife and two kids, this was sufficient, all be it a little small, but very manageable. The positive side was how clean it was and appreciated the daily house keeper coming in to hoover and set up the room for the day. The only small comment I could add would be: lack of storage space for cases when 4 are in the room and no real drying area for wet skiing clothes on return from daily skiing. Bar: The bar area was super modern whilst holding on to an alpine feel, warm, woody and welcoming. A nice selection of wine, sprits and local Salzburg Stiegl beer. Restaurant: We opted for half board and if you are there with family is super convenient. - The breakfast is a cold buffet with a good selection of breads, hams, jams, etc and offered a warm boiled egg - setting you up for the day on the hill. - The evening dinner of four course was above our expectations, each day your presented with something different comprising ov a daily soup, salad bar, main dinner and a desert In addition there was a good sized ski storage (heated) where you could offload your wet equipment each day and in located 5 to 10min walk to the town area. The ski lift of Alpendorf is less than 10mins away by car, also served by ski bus which is stopping at the end of the street (10min walk) Despite this being a small family run hotel, the family show 5 star attitude in running this business, they care for your stay.
