They had pre arranged a taxi service from the airport, and he was waiting for me right at the doors as I finally completed my 28 hours in transit from Sydney. This man was my first experience of anyone really in Bishkek and he was so friendly and helpful. We chatted endlessly whilst he drove me to my destination and although I was tired I wished we could have spoken for another little while. Once inside the hotel, he helped me check in to the hotel as my knowledge of Russian is non existent and the young man behind the counter had limited English. I headed upstairs and had an amazing sleep after a hot shower. The beds are super comfortable and after getting myself sorted around 11am the staff at the front desk really did go above and beyond helping me get my sim card active (they even took me to the supermarket to add data to my sim) they then organised a taxi to take me to the bank and bring me back and all of this they offered me a lunch as I had missed out in breakfast. They also upgraded me from a double room to a room with a separate lounge and bedroom. The next day before checking out they again arranged a taxi for my destination and also gave me a take away lunch as I had missed breakfast that first morning. This was my first long haul flight after 2 years and the staff at hotel De'mar really helped me settle in and avoid jet lag. I can't thank them enough and highly recommend you stay at this hotel if you are ever thinking of visiting Bishkek.

Nous avons séjourné une nuit seulement mais nous avons eu une expérience vraiment merveilleuse. La chambre était lumineuse, colorée et spacieuse. Mais l'accent de notre séjour - outre l'hospitalité - était le dîner. Nous sommes végétariens et chaque repas que nous avons commandé était digne d'un restaurant Michelin étoile. Nous apprécions toujours le steak de Cauliflower - parfait dans la texture et le goût. C'est le meilleur aliments que nous avons eu dans nos voyages. Le menu présente le croyance et la philosophie du Chef sur la première page. Le service au restaurant était bon et le gestionnaire Behruz était une masse d'énergie!

My stay at the Ramada in Bishkek wasn’t great and I couldn’t wait to leave! Upon arrival the guy on reception was so rude and looked at me like a piece of dirt. I asked if any rooms had a good view (which they did because I’ve seen the photos), he laughed, lied and said no! Originally put on the 3rd floor it seemed really busy. I got 3 hours sleep the first night as other guests decided to “hang out” in the corridors. I was actually quite scared as they were being really loud, aggressive and just being a nuisance. The next day I asked to move, which they allowed me to. I moved up one floor, sadly I encountered another group of people travelling together who also liked to leave their room doors wide open so that they could go between rooms. Seriously never experienced a hotel like it, I barely slept again and my 4 nights of lacklustre sleep were appalling. First room the tv didn’t work, there were hair all over the floor and also on my pillow. Second room the tv worked but all channels were in Russian and if you’d like any tea tray refills you’ll have to ask!! Breakfast was okay, you can get an omelette or eggs when they can be bothered to come out of their cupboard. Most things are laid out and you can help yourself, which is fine. The best thing about this place is the location and being able to walk places. Beware it was the Golden Tulip hotel until Ramada took it over and don’t seem to have done any improvements. Room configurations are weird and have more hidden corners that are just odd. Airport transfers are $20 which seems quite excessive for Bishkek. A taxi is roughly 1,000 KGS. Safe to say I wouldn’t stay here again and possibly not at another Ramada either.

Such an awesome hostel! it's brand new and well maintained so all facilities were in order. The dorm beds were really comfy with their own privacy curtains and power outlets, and the Wi-Fi worked great. Guests who prefer to make their own meals are free to use the kitchen. The location is perfect for exploring the city, it's right at the city center. All attractions are within walking distance, and there are so many shops and restaurants nearby. The staff may not be fluent in English but they were all very friendly and helpful. They even let me check in real early when I arrived in the morning. This is the perfect place to stay if you're looking for a place to stay in Bishkek that's centrally located.

L'hôtel lui-même est très bon en tant que restaurant et en tant que bâtiment. Mais le personnel, pas tout le monde, travaille terriblement. Les gardiens ne connaissent pas le pays de la production de vin, et le poids des plats. Les cuisines sont bonnes, les cuisines délicieuses. Le garçon Bell est venu chercher les bagages dans la chambre, les a laissés dans le bagage au premier étage et n'a pas dit à personne. J'ai demandé de l'eau dans la chambre, j'ai apporté 4 bouteilles, dont 2 étaient ouvertes, c'est-à-dire quelqu'un avait déjà bu. L'hôtel est de 5 étoiles, sur la respiration, dit qu'ils ont été construits une chambre pour 1 personne, j'ai commandé 2. La semaine de réservation est amusante confirmée! Vous n'avez personne pour surveiller le personnel? Vous n'avez personne pour les former? Il n'y a plus de 3+ étoiles qui ne sont pas 5. Dans l'ensemble, Mariot, la deuxième fois déjà déçue. Outre tout est beau et service 0. Je ne vais jamais à Marriott, pour moi ce mot est rude.

A nice hotel but certainly not a 4 star as it is mentioned on most of the booking websites. Room service, Food & Beverages not available 24/7. Self service to fill up drinking water in a jug kept in the room from a dispenser kept on each floor near the elevator. All Rooms are different sizes so if you book them as per the info, you will be in for a surprise. The location of this property is absolutely perfect right in the city centre with everything close by. It has a restaurant with a wonderful view. The breakfast lacked the variety you would expect but decent though.
