While I loved going to this hotel when it was Libertys I can honestly say it might even be better now it is the Caledonian Tower. Arrived bang on 3.00 pm and was checked in by the highly professional Rihanna who explained everything perfectly . I was in room 114 a splendid room it was with large double bed, single bed, lots of towels, wardrobe space and tea and coffee facilities. The telly while not the biggest had lots of channels. Bathroom was great the water pipping hot.The decor was splendid and looked like it had been newly decorated. Now unpacked it was off to the bar downstairs. While the hotel is splendid value to start with each guest receives four free drinks vouchers touse each night of their stay. Certain drinks have a small uplift but it's brilliant value. The bingo starts at 8.00pm with games of filling a line and a full house with some people walking away with nearly £300.00 pounds. Following the bingo are fantastic singers who certainly had the crowd going and on their feet. Now for the boring bit which all reviews should mention. The breakfast was excellent. A fruit juice section, tea, coffees, toast. There are five cereals, fruit, yogurt. After that there is bacon, sausage, eggs to order, beans, hash browns etc. At breakfast you get to pick your Evening Meal which is a choice of three starters, four mains, a salad and four sweets. It was all a high standard to.However I wll leave the best till last the staff were excellent. Multi tasking Bobby seems to do it all as you see him all over the shop. However not sure if the rumours he built the hotel in his bare feet are true. The very enthusiastic Alfie certainly enertained the guests and Tracey was the most consecientious worker you are likely to ever meet. So thanks a lot till next time.
