MyRoomz Silver Strand Hotel

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in ,everything falling apart bed was broken and had laminate flooring under mattress to make it flat and cover the broken half of the bed ,room 3 is worse than a dog kennel,owner told me he had (OCD) by far the funniest thing I've ever heard ceiling wasn't even fitted correctly and the bed bugs are on steroids,will never ever stay or recommend this dump to anyone,the whole place needs a proper inspection ,surprised this place is even open .I wouldn't let a dog stay here ,came home with over 200 bed bug bites from the bugs in this place, the shower is either freezing or boiling lava ,the wallpaper is all mouldy and falling of ,bathroom door fitted upside down and hanging of ,I've seen homeless people keep there area cleaner than this place( AVOID AT ALL COSTS )

For the price and location to the fair and Waterpark, you can't go wrong. Owners where lovely.. They have a bar if you want one. 2 minutes walk to south pier. Fair and Waterpark right next to you. Loads of shops and food places on same road and wetherspoons facing. Room and showers where spot on.

I've stayed at a few hotels in Blackpool for work and this place is crazy for the price, it is cozy, warm and a very inviting atmosphere. The lady at the front desk was very nice and easy to speak to. For the price it's honestly fantastic value. What more could you ask for

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s dirty, smelly, falling to bits and has no facilities. The room was disgusting. The shower room a disgrace and the rest of the building a wreck. We requested ground floor when we booked because of mobility issues and were put in the third floor attic. There were very noisy pigeons in the loft space. No hot water and a shower tray that I thought I’d fall through. When we left half way through our prepaid stay the manager couldn’t have cared less. How *********** can give this 3 stars is beyond me.

Stopped here with my little girl in Aug and would never stop again the room was awful, mould on the ceiling, hair in the shower, stains on the mattress and fag burns on the sheets! I should have known by the price it was too good to be true. Avoid at all costs and staff don't care!

Double room bed base was broken and ripped wallpaper hanging off round door only 1 double socket by TV where kettle was aswell which is fire hazard in my opinion having kettle right under TV stains on sheets quilt under sheet to make mattress seem like was thicker sheets was dirty grey colour door didn't shut unless locked it could clearly see wall paper was loose due to damp

Well what can i say about this place.... when we arrived the guy was very polite and helpful. Got to the room to find how bad this place is. There was a bed base that was stained badly, there was a whole in the wall. The sink was in the room and not the bathroom. My family was meant to stay 3 nights but didn't end up staying here. And couldn't get a refund from *********** very angry at this. Luckily managed to book a travel lodge down the road.

Staff are very friendly. Stayed for 2 nights so as get a better idea of how to best rate this hotel. First night in room 3: room 3 is small. Carpet is stained, ceiling tiles not fitted properly, no bedside tables. Bathroom very very small. Second night room 19: Room 19 lacks anywhere to put your clothes. Bedside lights don't work and a mirror that looks like someone put it up in a rush and bathroom very very small. On a positive note, if you can cope with the amount of stairs you'll find the room is very spacious and clean. Friends stayed in room 4 and found it to be small. Bathroom is very small and windows very dirty. Would I stay in this hotel again? Unfortunately not. Would I recommend this hotel? Again unfortunately not.

Thankfully myrooms.com saved me from a hellish stay at 'The Driftwood' and transfered us to this hotel. Lady on reception at Silver Strand was very very helpful and lovely. Any requests she helped and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. Room was upgraded to a family room. All amenities we needed were in the room. Good location- very close to the South Pier. Would definitley recommend.
