Blanco River Hotel

"First off the hotel is under renovations. It looked nothing like the pics. Was scared at first . All flowers are gone. They said they were replacing with palms soon. All rooms are being remodeled . We stayed in an updated room. I will say the front desk lady was awesome, though. Actually the two I dealt with were amazing. My mom and I were there for 3 nights. Only other issue I had was that the snack machines were empty the whole time as well. But we got over it. The room was great though.would stay again"

The Hotel Henry

"Decided at the last minute to take a quick trip to the Texas Hill Country and opted for Blanco rather than the busier and more expensive Fredericksburg. The Hotel Henry looked good so we decided to try it out. It was a good choice. The room was spacious (king room with the separate sitting room) and immaculately clean. The bed was very high (be aware if you have mobility issues) but extremely comfortable, and the hotel was quiet despite being less than a block from Hwy 281. The employees were friendly and helpful. The vibe is laid back… almost AirBnB-ish. No one was at the front desk when we got there but there was a note with my name on it on the counter with the room key (an actual key… not a key card). When we saw the front desk clerk later she asked if we’d had any trouble or needed anything. Nope… everything was good! There is a small menu for food, including breakfast, but we didn’t eat there so I cannot comment on that. If we need a hotel in Blanco again, I’d be happy to stay here again. Happy with our visit."
