"Staff was pleasant and hotel relatively clean. Breakfast was marginal, at best. The biggest complaint I have is the charge upfront for "incidentals" (20% of the rate). I just learned that even though we had no incidentals the charge to my credit card for that was not credited at checkout, but instead will show up on my credit card later. I was informed that could take up to 2 weeks! Choice Hotels or the individual hotel are thus using every patron's money for 2 weeks--I call that a scam!"

"We absolutely love the st. Julien!!! Every three months we drive from our home in Denver for a special getaway for two days to the st Julien in Boulder! My daughter and 8 year old granddaughter have the best time in this elegant hotel, a block off Pearl street where we could not be more pampered! Everyone who works at the hotel is wonderful- friendly, accommodating and welcoming! My granddaughter loves the salt water indoor pool and the hot tub is great too! Highly recommended!"
