Lovely Christmas atmosphere and decorations for this Turkey and Tinsrk self drive break. Very good service from the staff and clean and convenient room. Excellent entertainment and dancing in the evening . Food very good … excellent value and pleasant dining room.

Had to leave first night. The room was full of bed bugs. And it was my husbands birthday and a get away before Xmas. It was awful the bed bugs was all over the bed we had leave 1am in morning. We are covered in bites. And offered no compensation.

Had a lovely stay at the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Have two children with special needs and the staff very kindly let us check into the room early rather than us having to wait until the actual time of check in. The food was basic but tasty enough and the entertainment in the evening was very good. Our family room was comfortable, clean and was what we were expecting. Only downside was the Wifi, which kept disconnecting. Would definitely consider staying at the hotel in the future.

Had a great time went with a crowd of friends from work.Hotel is well located.Food and entertainment was great staff friendly.We could not asked for better weather. The hotel could do with a bit of an update.But to be honest, for what we paid, it was very good.Will go again .

Fantastic 5days .lovely bright room. Lovely food. Great transport. Entertainment and bingo every night. Differently come again . Staff are helpful don't need to worry about cases once you are collected by the driver everything is taken care of

Just returned from The Sands after a 5 day break. The hotel is well placed and despite a wet and windy week,we enjoyed our stay As with other Daish hotels,the staff are very friendly and helpful,and work long hoursWe upgraded to a superior room which was only £10 and well worth the little extra.Our room was large,clean and comfortable/ The food was adeqate.Plenty of choice,simple fayre but always hot and well presented A special mention to our wonderful waiter,Manuel.He went above and beyond to please,...quick,efficient and very friendly As ex hoteliers,we would have been very happy to employ such an efficient member of staff,but also impressed with the other staff members. :) Overall,The Sands represents fantastic value for money & I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Just had a fantastic 5 days at the Sands Hotel and have to say the service was brilliant in all area's of the hotel. Reception, restaurant,bar and room 1st class well done and thank you to everyone at the hotel 😊. Oh and not forgetting the 1/2 price bar.

Room was in need of a thorough clean, 2 used, stained mugs on tea tray. String light in bathroom too short. Light on wall above headboard,no shade. Bare wires. Tomato at breakfast always hard/overcooked, as was fried egg on 2 mornings. Food on the whole tasteless. Not a good experience. Waiter,Manuel, was friendly and polite. I felt he was too good to be serving such tasteless, meagre portioned, uninspiring food.

Our group had exemplary treatment at Sands Hotel. The food and entertainment was good and all the staff in all areas were very pleasant and friendly indeed, our waiter Christoph deserves a special mention, But most of all I want to praise your receptionist Aman who was so kind and helpful to me. He went to great lengths to make my stay comfortable. He will be a great asset to anyones business
