With the family room and kitchen open to one another there is great space to unload and get acquainted to the finer things in life! The kitchen boasts top of the line appliances with every cabinet and drawer loaded full of your culinary needs. From the k-cup coffee maker to the old school percolator your mornings will have every reason to enjoy a warm cup of Joe on the front porch rockers. The family room has a wood burning fireplace to keep warm and offers a powder bathroom conveniently located for den and kitchen area. Off the kitchen is the laundry room with full size washer and dryer and shelving for pantry goods. The master is a retreat all on its own! ALSO - OTR is located in a safe area within a gated community. OTR is located about 1 mile from the end of the traditional Caddo River Float. So if you dont want to spend your day floating... NO WORRIES... We have several areas that are perfect for guest to hang out in the water with river chairs and engage with those floating bye. OTR is a single story cabin that sleeps 16. The cabin has an open floor plan where the spacious kitchen and cozy living room offer the perfect setting for families and friends! OTR offers guest 4 King Bedrooms with custom built beds. Each King Bedroom is accompanied with a bathroom inside each room for guest convenience. Bunk Rooms are located on each side of the cabin between King Bedrooms. Bunk Room will be accessed through a farm door, just off the living room. On The Rocks Cabin is elevated cabin, that offers parking underneath with lighting, 2 staircases guest can access the property through 1 of the 2 sets of double doors just off the porch. The double doors open into the living room, kitchen & dining area; as you will see, OTR's floor plan was designed to give guest an “airy light” feeling. The living room is perfect for lounging in front of the fireplace while playing games or enjoying time with your loved ones. The spacious kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to show off your kitchen skills; as we strive to give guest the “ Home Away From Home” vibe. Everyone can gather around the 10ft island with Cortez Bar-Top & Bar-stools! This space is ideal for guest to gather as meals are being prepared and/or playing games. Our property is located on the site of the historic Royston Grist, Lumber and Textile Mill. There's an assortment of board games for you to enjoy!Old Mill Cabin #2 has a master bedroom with queen bed, recliner, and private full bath. Right on the river! Enjoy our 5 acres of secluded mountain forest perfect for getting out of the city and into nature. Just down the road from us is 37,000 acres of wildlife management area. Fish right from our deck or the riverbank. Deer and turkey abound. We are only 7 miles away from Crater of Diamonds State Park. 18 miles from Glenwood where you can kayak the Caddo River. 35 miles from Caddo Gap hiking trails and our favorite, Winding Stair hike. Bring your ATVs for nearby trails. Lake Greeson is 6 miles away and offers pontoon rentals, and boating activities. King bedroom that has the queen sleeper sofa is a DETATCHED grandmothers suite and the bunkroom on the ground floor of the main cabin with the kitchen. The property is remote and it would be difficult for a Porshe to manage the road, our neighbors Prius made the trip.... any SUV is fine. The gravel road into the cabin is a mile long and has some steep hills. The cabin is not really designed for large people. The ceiling height in the kitchen, bunk room and outdoor kitchen area is 6'2" , the indoor staircase is relatively narrow and the furniture is not designed for large people over 250 lbs.
