Aphrodites Group - Luxury Hot Tub Suites in Central Lake District!

The most disappointing trip I think k I've experienced for what I paid. We stayed in the garden suite for one night for my husbands birthday. At first glance everything looked has it should , until i noticed the wall pannaling falling apart and coming away from the wall. There was a cigarette burn in one of the dressing down sleeves. Half the jets in the hot tub didn't not work and the canopy above it was full of dirty rain water which looked like it had been there for weeks. I paid an extra £30 on arrival for breakfast and is was barely cooked the bacon was raw and the egg was slimy. I messaged the manager hoping for a response and thought if I could just get an apology then that would be fair but no response and no apology. You would think at all the money this place charges the maintenance would be kept up to.

I stayed here for 3 days and overall had a pleasant experience, with a few disappointments. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and exactly as shown in the photos. They’re well-equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and approachable, which added to the welcoming atmosphere. However, there were two issues that negatively impacted our stay: 1. Hot Tub Dripping Issue: Our balcony hot tub was directly beneath another room's hot tub, and unfortunately, water was constantly dripping down from their balcony into ours. This wasn't just annoying—it was unhygienic, as the water dripping from their floor wasn't clean. When we contacted reception, a staff member came and suggested it may have been a one-off due to someone large entering the tub and causing overflow. However, the dripping continued even when no one was in the tub above (we could hear the difference). This made it difficult to enjoy our private hot tub experience. 2. Noise from Adjacent Room: The walls are extremely thin, and we were unlucky to be next to a room with a couple who blasted music starting from 7 PM. By 10 PM, it became unbearable, so we contacted reception. They said someone would be sent, but no one came. We called again after 30 minutes, and the staff member mentioned he would drive down to speak to them, sounding clearly frustrated—likely due to multiple complaints. We also heard other guests knocking on the wall. When the staff eventually intervened, the music stopped for about 20 minutes, but then resumed at a lower volume which within 15minutes was ramping up again and went on till past 1 AM. In summary, while the hotel offers beautiful accommodations and friendly staff, soundproofing and guest experience management could be improved, especially in dealing with noise disturbances and hot tub maintenance.

Unbelievable nights stay! Hottub and sauna were lovely and we’ve never seen a bathroom like it! All staff were helpful and friendly and breakfast was delivered to the door bang on 9am like they said! Couldn’t fault the stay at all! The extra add ons for personalisation were a lovely touch too

We stayed in The Penthouse Retreat. Room was amazing, hot tub facilities were amazing and the steam shower was a lovely touch too. The bed is really comfortable and everything was lovely and clean. Only minor issues was that the smoke pipe for the fire had a hole so smoke entered the room and it smelt. Also the blinds on the balcony doors are really hard to use and come off everytime you try as they’re just magnetic. It didn’t really impact our stay but would come back here 100%

Excellent staff experience and beautiful environment. Worth every dime. My husband and I stayed in the Elderweiss room. The hot tub was readily serviced for our use and the breakfast was the best!! I recommend going during summer for an amazing view of the town.

Beautiful room and really pleasant greeting. The host was able to get all the information we needed across quickly and clearly. I enjoyed the privacy of the room and location of the hotel. Nicely situated a short distance from Bowness, with a beautiful walk along the marina to get there. Pillows could have been fluffier and signage is around the room which is a bit annoying. Other than that, it was a lovely weekend away
