I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. What stood out immediately was how responsive and efficient the team was through the group chat they created for guests. It felt like having a concierge in your pocket—fast, friendly, and always ready to help. One moment that really impressed me: I had sent my laundry in (yes, they offer complimentary laundry service—not just machines, but actual washing and drying done for you!), and I noticed one of my socks was missing. I casually asked about it in the group chat while I was having breakfast near the reception area. To my surprise, I saw a staff member literally sprint off from the reception and return shortly after—with my missing sock in hand! That level of attentiveness was genuinely remarkable. There was a little hiccup when the hotel forgot our advance booking for transport. We were initially told to book our own as their cars were all taken, which left us pretty dissatisfied—especially since it wasn’t a last-minute request. But while I was venting to my friend, one of our butlers overheard us and quietly stepped in. She said she'd help us out—and to our surprise, she personally booked a DiDi ride for us using her own money. We were honestly amazed by that level of care, and it meant so much that we later decided to bring her a little taste of our local delight as a thank-you gift. The hotel also offers complimentary afternoon tea, complete with barista-made coffee and cakes—a perfect treat to enjoy while soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. Speaking of which, the view from my room was incredible—lush, open grasslands that made every moment feel peaceful and grounding. They also offer a car service to take you to nearby points of interest, but to be honest, the hotel itself was such a gem that I could have easily stayed in the whole time. Between the view, the service, and the food (the in-house restaurant is also worth mentioning—delicious meals and lovely ambience), I never felt the need to venture far. This hotel nails it when it comes to comfort, hospitality, and thoughtful touches. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a truly relaxing and memorable stay. Bonus: they have three adorable chowskis roaming around the property, and one of them can even open the lobby door. 🐾 Honestly, that alone made my day. Comme son nom suggère, vous pouvez voir MeiLi montagne de neige directement de votre chambre! L'hôtel dispose également de son propre restaurant et ils servent petit déjeuner à partir de 8-10am. Rappelez-vous de faire la réservation tôt car il peut être vendu très rapidement pendant la saison de pic!

This hotel offers a great location to view the Meili Snow Mountains during the morning golden peak and also sunset (if you're lucky with the weather conditions). It is right next to the bus stop, which means it is very convenient if you are planning to catch an early morning bus (in our case). Rooms can be a bit pricey, but we know that we are essentially paying for the view. The food at the hotel is also tasty, I didn't need to go and look anywhere else for dinner and breakfast. I appreciated the great help that was provided by a staff named Xiao Wei. We arrived at the hotel when it was raining and wasn't expecting to see any mountain range in sight, but then the sky suddenly cleared up during the evening just shortly before sunset whilst we were having dinner and Xiao Wei came over to tell us to go and have a look at the snow mountain, which made our hearts rushed with joy. We also appreciated when Xiao Wei told us again during night time that the mountain range was visible so we quickly opened the curtain to treat ourselves with another fantastic view. The viewing platform on the top floor is a great location to see the sunrise and golden peak. I personally think it's even better viewing at the Feilai Temple platform that most tourists go to. On a final note, Xiao Wei again was very kind to help us by going to the bus platform at 8.30 AM in the morning to help us purchase the bus tickets from the driver (we couldn't do so as wechat pay didn't work for us). We were very happy with our stay here and got very lucky with some of the best views during our entire Yunnan trip. Thank you very much to Xiao Wei and the staff at Once Upon A Time in Meili :)

Wow! This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and the uninterrupted view of the mountain range was just stunning. The boss was helpful and kind, bringing us warm milk before bed. The room was super comfortable and had lovely decoration. It was also so warm and cozy in winter. Absolutely loved this hotel and think it was great value.

La réception est très bonne, elle a mis à jour la chambre et a envoyé deux petits-déjeuners. La porte de la chambre est ouverte à la montagne de neige et il y a une plate-forme de vision au-dessus. Les installations de la chambre sont très bonnes, simple et moderne. Ce lit n'a pas vu le soleil de Jinshan, il y a une chance de revenir la prochaine fois! Je reviendrai ici quand je reviendrai dans la ville antique à l'avenir. Tout le monde viendra et restera ici. En plus des installations complètes, des services propres et sanitaires, il y a aussi du Xiu Gou Fu Bao au hasard, qui joue de la guitare et chante autour du poêle pour faire du thé. La consultation de voyage est également complète et tout le personnel de la cabine est génial. Dans l’ensemble, c’est pratique et pratique à tous égards, fortement recommandé😍

L'hôtel était super, l'hospitalité donnée était super, et ils répondront à toutes les questions que vous avez. J'ai servi avec un verre bienvenu, une boisson d'herbe chinoise et un type de yogurt la nuit. La chambre est équipée d'un contrôle de chambre intelligent avec activation de la voix. Le toile était cependant un très mince morceau de toile, mieux apporter votre propre.

非常滿意，央宗和小米特別到位，22號晚上提前加我微信問我幾點到達酒店，提前幫忙打開了地暖和氧氣，晚上到店後還給準備了泡麪牛奶和零食，第二天早上下起大雪，路面積雪很厚，我愛人****，我和我愛人就準備抓緊離開，還幫我們送到葯店和客運站，等我們買完車票才回去。感謝小米，央宗還有店主。非常推薦入住這個酒店，絕對真評價👍。
