IInvitéThe hotel was so nice , I have booked one person solo room , it feels very homely and comfortable. I even nap in the hotel on afternoon after morning hiking , it so much like home. The amenities is good and very clean. Breakfast not much option , but Kuching is surrounded by nice food , so I just grab a coffee and light meal in the hotel breakfast , sit in the hotel restaurant and enjoy, then walk to nearby shop for fuller breakfast. There are plenty of food , convenient stall and even famous butter cake mita in walking distance (around 5min). As a solo traveller , I strongly recommend this hotel , it makes me feel safe and not afraid to sleep alone at night time. Will definitely to stay here again if visit Kuching. 😊

BBernard Christie FrancisWe had earlier stayed at Riverview Majestic Hotel from 11th to 13th June. A Fabulous Hotel with Great Breakfast spread for the Rate we paid.
Now at Roxy Beach Resort we had Mountain View but it was fine as most if the time we are indulging in activities. The Room was fine and clean. Front office neeeds to check their in room Safe Box, as it was not operating.
Next in the morning we went down for Breakfast thinking this Hotel knows what it is doing as i have seen many advertisements on Roxy Hotel almost everywhere 😳
To my shock the Breakfast layout was totally out. There was no table setting at 7.45am. Tables didn't have even Salt n Pepper shakers as it stndard. Although they are serving hard boilded eggs. The morning juice was way watered down ” Orange Juice”
The sugar was in a large jar. More like 2 Star Service
The Best part ” Cook” tosses the roti canai into the shaving dish, then he tosses the sausages into another shaving dish. That's how F&B handles food. Next lost of Green Bottle flies in the Restaurant
From this i know that the Hotel Manager, F& B manager and so called Chef don't check the Restaurant Coffee House. We shouldn't be paying such High Rates for a Resort Hotel Operated in this manner. I believe the Owners have put in alot of effort.

Et pour le paiement du petit-déjeuner pour les enfants, cela ne vaut pas la nourriture fournie, il n'y a pas de choix pour le petit-déjeuner...

IInvitéThe hotel was under major renovation during my stay, so the first day check-in was at level 21. It was a bit confusing at first since my Grab driver dropped me at the side entrance, I had to go through the mall, carry my heavy luggage up one flight of stairs, and then take the lift to level 21.
By the next day, the new main lobby was open, and I must say it looks very modern and welcoming! There was still a slight smell lingering and, strangely, quite a lot of flies around, but overall it’s a big improvement.
The room itself felt a little old and dated. The corridor had a mild moldy smell, and while the room was generally clean, there was some dust in the corners. Hopefully, room renovations will follow soon.
The real highlight of this hotel is the staff. Every single person I encountered was attentive, helpful, and easygoing, just like the wonderful local people I met in Kuching. With updated rooms to match their excellent service, this place would be perfect.

IInvité3D2N stay was excellent. Nearby to Airport and our Event location. Breakfast not so much variety of foods but still excellent. Location to popular spots not so far away, overall not much time spending on the journey. Don't ever miss to spend time at Sunny Hill Ice cream, only located opposite the hotel.

UUtilisateur anonymeFor those who may not know, the lobby is located on level 2 and is accessible by lift. The room I stayed in was very spacious; however, the cleanliness could be improved, as there were stains on the white duvet cover. I was on the 10th floor, and it was quiet at night, despite being in the city center. A water purifier is available along the corridor, and cooking utensils are provided, so you can prepare your own meals if you'd like. The Spring Shopping Mall is just opposite the hotel and can be easily accessed via a skybridge.

SSerene_cI recently stayed at this hotel and overall, it was a pleasant and relaxing experience. The highlight of the stay was definitely the beach — clean, quiet, and beautifully maintained. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the natural surroundings.
The room itself was comfortable and spacious, with a nice layout. However, I believe the cleanliness could be improved. Some areas, especially corners and bathroom surfaces, seemed to have been overlooked during cleaning. It wasn’t a major issue, but it did affect the overall impression of the room. A little more attention from the housekeeping team would really enhance the quality of the stay.
Breakfast was quite decent with a good range of options. The food was fresh and replenished regularly. It wasn’t overly fancy, but it was more than enough to start the day off well.
The staff were generally polite and helpful. Check-in was smooth, and we appreciated their friendly attitude throughout our stay. That said, we didn’t interact with them much, so I can’t say too much about service beyond the basics.
As for the amenities, everything was in working order — from the air conditioning to the water pressure. Nothing luxurious, but sufficient for a comfortable stay. The common areas were well-kept, and the hotel had a relaxing atmosphere overall.
With just a little more focus on room cleanliness and maybe a bit more warmth from the staff, this place has great potential to offer a truly excellent experience. I’d still recommend it, especially to those looking for a quiet beach escape. Would stay again for the beach and peaceful vibe.
