WOOOOOW is the only word which we will write here :) .. We want this hidden gem in the heart of Dalmatia to be always available only for us, so we will not tell too many words about it ;) ... Adriatic studio is perfect for couples! Best regards to kind hosts! B&M :)

Abuela’s Beach House is one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. The location is stunning, beautiful views down to exquisite sea. There are a lot of steps so I would say not suitable for anyone with mobility issues and if you’ve small kids be careful. The views are stunning and the pool is lovely. It’s very peaceful. About 3km north of Brela which we found to be too busy in July. The area around Abuela’s is much more relaxing. Brane was an amazing host. I’ve never stayed somewhere where the hospitality is so personal and attentive but also relaxing and discreet. I also loved how the apartment was equipped with lots of thoughtful touches – dishwasher tablets, coffee pods, sugar etc. So you don’t have to buy everything in the supermarket and leave behind. A very special place and we’d love to go back.

I would like to wholeheartedly recommend Abuelos Beach Home. Great apartment, the best sincere host! Impeccable cleanliness: beautiful snow-white bed linen. Great pool and incredible view at any time of the day! The perfect place to relax with the family! The smell of the sea and pines! We had a great time and would love to come back!

The staff was very helpful and nice. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The balcony is large and the view must be one of the most beautiful in the world. The pool was also very nice. There are many good beaches in the area with very clear water. There is a good range of services on promenade. The area is particularly suitable for families and others looking for a peaceful holiday.

We enjoyed the most wonderful stay at Abuelas Beach House. Ana was extremely helpful in all her communication, including helping us to get to the apartment on our day of arrival. Our apartment, Adriatic, was spotless and as a couple, totally suited us. It is tastefully decorated and all the facilities are perfect. It is much larger than the pictures show, with a stunning veranda and gorgeous views. The location is great with easy access to wonderful beaches, great restaurants - we loved Plima - and beach bars. Even in high season, it was always calm on the beach and never felt over-crowded. The steps down to the beach kept you fit, but were no major obstacle. It was Ana and Branes personal attention that makes this accommodation stand out from the rest. From welcome drinks, a stocked fridge, a generous snack and helpful conversations - nothing was too much trouble and you always felt more than just a guest. We would 100% recommend Abuelas Beach House!

From our initial contact with Ana (who answered all our queries quickly) and booking 5 nights in Apartment Capriniaha with ease, throughout our stay and even the airport transfers by Brane,we had all our holiday needs taken care of by these super caring hosts and owners . From chatting to Brane it is clear that they both have put their heart and soul into making Abuelas Beachhouse the best accommodation in Brela. The apartment was outstanding...the bed was large and so comfortable with amazing 2 in 1 cooling pillows (which I'd never heard of before but will definitely try and buy some) both showers were great, the air con very quiet (a usual annoyance for me) and all the soft furnishings were comfortable, a well equipped kitchen and exceptionally clean throughout (including the outdoor terrace furniture.) It was around 35/38 degrees during our stay so the infinity pool was great and there is also a huge olive tree providing shade as well as a large garden parasol and other shady areas. Brane was also happy to make cocktails which were fabulous! Both Ana and Brane had lots of advice on where to eat, places to visit and also where there was a small local supermarket (5 mins walk) which was well stocked with local bread/ cheese/ hams/ fruit and dairy products. Brane also picked up some croissants for us one morning. The beach was so clean and the water crystal-clear and not overcrowded where we were. There is also paddle boarding hire and other water activities close by. The promenade is a lovely walk in both directions and there are plenty of beach bars and ice-cream kiosks to hand. We have travelled a lot around the world and we can honestly say that the accommodation at Abuelas Beachhouse and the kindness and friendliness of the hosts is very rare and every effort is given by them to ensure all visitors have the best possible holiday experience. Thank you so much Brane and Ana (not forgetting adorable Kaya, Petra and Do-Do)..our holiday really felt like we were staying with friends and we hope to return to your beautiful beachhouse again in the near future.

Don‘t mind the stairs and enjoy the view! Always a pleasure to stay here, this time in the Adriatic Studio, which is spacious enough for a couple and has a very nice terrace 😀👍 perfect for breakfast

We have stayed at the Abuelas Beach House for 2 nights. the place is very well located at Brela. the apartment is not very large but enough for 2 persons, it is clear and very clean with a nice terrasse with view. The owner is very kind and responsive. It was a pleasure to deal with him. Hélène and Pascal

Some places you know are going to be perfect before you even stay and Abuelas Beach House is one such place. We had so many flight problems making this trip with 2 cancellations followed by a four hour delay meaning we didn’t arrive until 4.30am. Our Mamma Mia apartment was beautiful, spotlessly clean and with a huge balcony. We have had some great views from hotels and apartments during our travels but this view was off the scale amazing! From the first morning our young son enjoyed playing in the beautiful pool with Petra and Kaya and during our stay Brane gave me a lift to the local store and brought us cocktails and fruit. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we enjoyed talking to Ana and Brane numerous times. It feels more like a luxurious boutique hotel in many ways and there were some lovely restaurants nearby…Burin and Plima were our personal favourites. Yes there are a lot of steps to get to the coast path but our 5 year old son managed fine….just make sure you don’t forget anything when you go out like I once did 😄. I hope that we will maybe return in the future and with less flight dramas…yes our flight home was also cancelled 🥴.

We had a fabulous two weeks here and didn't want to leave .The owners are amazing friendly people that really want you to have a great holiday. The apartments, the view,the pool,the beaches, everything is perfect and so beautiful. Its hard to put into words what Ana and Brane have created here. There is so much to do along the coastline and we agreed it was our best holiday ever.We walked and swam every day and ate on our terrace most evenings as we had long days out. The stairs down to the beach are about 200 so just bear this in mind before you book for a holiday of a lifetime at this magical place. .

A really special find in Brela with access to the lovely beaches and promenade. Ana and Brane exceeded our expectations to make us feel welcomed and assist with our every need. They made arrangements for us to get picked up for Konoba Katara at sunset for dinner, and it was amazing. Brane helped us rent bikes at the bar nearby just below their beautiful home, so we could see the whole promenade while we were there. Truly spectacular. Spotless, lovely and perfect! Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you.

We were very lucky to find Abuelas Beach House last year. There was an unbelievably fantastic stay!!! We had everything that we could imagine about a perfect holiday. All these reviews are true and much more... From the first day we decided that there is a place where we will come back. And we came back this year with our friends! They were told a lot about the beauty of this place by us, but when they saw it live they were shocked, they enjoyed this small, quite, breathtaking place so much. Everything around was shining, including an exceptionally clean apartment, blue pool, emerald sea, sunny sky, and especially warm and friendly smiles of Ana and Brane . There is real heaven!!!

All our family enjoyed an amazing stay at Abuelas Beach House. We had the best care from start to the end. Apartment Tango was perfectly equipped, the owners very nice and helpful throughout the stay. They recommended restaurants, shops and entertainment in the area and lent us a grill. Everything in the house is perfectly arranged, clean. The pool is great and a small quiet beach right below the house accessible by stairs. Thank you Ana and Brane for a perfect vacation! We stayed for 10 days as it was amazing place to be at. The owner was very nice, view from apartment was breathtaking, there were good restaurants around, nice and clean beach just a few steps (down the stairs) away. I would definitely visit this place again. The center of Brela is approximately 3 km away along a beautiful promenade along the coast. There is also a market close by.
