Travelodge Bristol Central Mitchell Lane

Plus points; great location to city centre, which is what is needed if having a late night out. No need for taxi's/ubers or any other modes of transport. Staff very friendly and willing to help. The downsides; Lots of building work going on around the hotel, which i know isn't their fault. I didn't sleep at all due to mattress just being on the firmer side for me and sane goes for the pillows. What also contributed to the lack of sleep, was the constant noises. Loud talking, thumping footsteps, doors being slammed rather than respectfully closed quietly. This went on for the WHOLE night. The TV remote didn't operate the TV. Had to do so manually like going back to the 70's. One of the most annoying things, after the noise was the key cards to access the room. I had to go back to reception 3 times to get a new card. They gave me 2 new ones on the third attempt, 1 which worked and 1 that didn't. It seems to be a common issue as several other guests had sane problems. Finally something I noticed in the morning were dried blood stains on the wall below the TV. Grim. At this point, I couldn't say for sure whether I'd go back again.

We had an amazing stay at Travelodge and the customer service we received from all staff, especially from the Albanian girl with the black hair, and of course the manager, was really great! She was so lovely and looked after us over breakfast. Thank you for making our short time at travelodge pleasant. We’ll definitely come back.

Good, basic, clean well-maintained room, adequate bathroom. Common areas all well-kept. Accommodation and building all adequate for stay and comparatively inexpensive. Cooked breakfast buffet of poor quality, however, so not good value.

I checked in late at night. Diksha, the receptionist, had helped me with getting a hair dryer and a WiFi password. She was very patient to ensure what I needed. The room is also neat and tidy. I am sure this hotel is a successful one. Thank you, Diksha!

My stay at this hotel was absolutely flawless from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and professional service. The atmosphere was clean, modern, and welcoming. The room itself was spacious, well-maintained, and had everything I needed — comfy bed, spotless bathroom, and strong Wi-Fi. What really made the stay next level was the staff. Diksha, Ankit, and Rachel went above and beyond every single day. Whether it was answering questions, helping with directions, or just being genuinely friendly — they were simply outstanding. You could tell they really cared about making each guest feel valued. The location of the hotel was also perfect, close to everything I needed — restaurants, shops, and public transport. I also appreciated the quiet at night, which made it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. Honestly, I couldn’t find a single thing to complain about. Great service, great people, great vibe. If you’re thinking of booking — don’t hesitate. This place is a 10/10. I’ll definitely be coming back!
