"Ranscombe House was perfect for our needs , we only stayed for one night we arrived a bit early and asked to leave the car at their car park which was ok. Went into town which isn’t that far away. Pip was a great host the room was perfect very clean and comfortable, breakfast was very tasty and plenty of choice. We had a free upgrade and the view from the midships room are great. Overall we had a great stay and will definitely be back. Thank you Pip for making making us feel at home."

"My wife and I stayed at Driftwood for four nights in the last week of August 2026 and had a wonderful time. Keith and Zoe were perfect hosts with great local knowledge of the area - the Berry Head walk was just to our capability, and Cocklington Village was a charming village we would not have discovered without Keith and Zoe’s recommendation. Brixham itself is a picturesque town, and what with the weather we had, we could easily have been in the Mediterranean, such were the views over the harbour from our room. There are ample hostelries and places to eat in Brixham - Beamers was our choice for our Wedding Anniversay - an excellent meal. Our room was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfy with feather pillows – slept like a log each night. En-suite bathroom was finished to a very high standard and a separate bateau bath. Breakfast was excellent everyday, cooked to order with great choices - nothing really needed for the rest of the day. Though we did over indulge at some of the nice cafes ! Would go back tomorrow if my boss would give me the time off."
