Staff, room, adjacent Cold Harbour Inn - all first class. The hotel is very welcoming, the duty manager even went to shield our room from the heat of the day - knowing that it could get hot because of the direction of the sun. We had added an extra night separately and this adjustment was really well sorted so we could stay in the same room. Breakfast at The Cold Harbour was fantastic - freshly cooked to order and with perfectly poached eggs - sometimes something that is difficult to achieve! Dinner was also very tasty and with a good menu. Finally, the hotel is well placed for getting to Cheltenham and Cirencester (where I can go swimming in outdoor pools). It is also close to the Swindon and Cricklade Railway which is now a favourite destination for me when in the area. I have even taken the 51 bus (a 10 minute walk to the bus stop from the hotel) into both towns. My recent visits have been brilliant.

Pit stop before Southampton cruise. Courtney was friendly, welcoming and brilliant with the kids. Good size bedroom and good brekky.

Very comfortable rooms, beds very comfortable. Friendly staff and a speedy and efficient check in. The attached pub/restaurant is excellent. We were very impressed with this premier inn and would stay here again and have no hesitation in recommending it to others

After a very long and stressful travel this hotel was just what we needed. The staff are great especially Fay who was working the night we checked in made us feel very welcome and engaged with our children made them very happy rather than bored waiting for us to check in. The room was lovely and clean old style but clean. We had a great nights sleep to then start our travels again. Thank you Premier inn and thank you Fay for a very friendly and quick check in.

Fantastic service from Fay on check in. Very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless had a great nights sleep. Had lunch over in the cold harbour and food and service was great. The morning of check out Steven was very happy and asked if everything was ok and wished us safe travels.

Really enjoyed my stay room was nice and clean and service was great staff very friendly not sure of other ladies name but both her and Courtney were always smiling and said hello wether it was greeting at the desk when exiting or entering the building or bumping into them as they were doing they’re rounds definitely stay again and recommend to friends

From the welcome of the receptionist Courteney, to the service and delicious meal at the Coldharbour Inn, to the large and comfortable bed, our stay could not have been better. The room is getting a bit tired but it's fantastic value for an overnight stay.

This may be an older Premier Inn, but it is superbly run and managed. All the staff seem happy and professional. The manager Steve clearly knows what he is doing ( despite the age of the hotel's infrastructure). Kudos to young Courtney on the front desk for sorting things out so ably. Salute to other front desk staff too. All were polite, friendly, knowledgeable. I have stayed here three times and shall return. My only issue was lack of adequate staff numbers at breakfast time in the linked adjacent but non-Premier Inn managed pub/restaurant , but the food was good .
