Very good stay at the Holiday inn Express Norwich. The rooms and public areas are immaculate. Rooms are very well equipped with air con, walk in shower, ironing board, kettle etc. Had stayed several years ago but since then the hotel has been refurbished and given a more contemporary style in the rooms. The staff are professional and polite yet friendly. Would highly recommend if staying in the area and we will certainly stay again.

For my wife’s 70th birthday party we made the arrangements with organiser Gillian at the Mercure hotel Norwich . She suggested that for 50+ guests the Presidential Suite would be ideal. The description given as to how the room and tables would be laid out was delivered perfectly. The food, considering it was mass catering was well above expectations. House wine on the tables was enjoyable and the serving and bar staff were efficient and helpful. All in all a great evening and at a reasonable cost.

Le bruit de la rue à l'extérieur de la fenêtre jusqu'à 3.30am, suivie de bruit de trafic, nous avons donc très peu de sommeil! Notre chambre « Heritage » n'avait ni rayons ni foyer (comme décrit sur le site) et était petite et terriblement forme, avec une grande partie de la chambre étant prise par un bain libre, de sorte que le garde-robe était craqué contre un mur sur le côté opposé. La chambre était inconvenante pour dire le moins. Lorsque nous avons mentionné le bruit de la rue lors du check-out, nous avons été dits de demander une chambre tranquille la prochaine fois .....il n'y aura pas la prochaine fois. Nous avons réservé directement avec l'hôtel et nous n'avons pas été dits de bruit de la rue. Le petit déjeuner était adéquat, mais les œufs pochés étaient durs. Pas une expérience merveilleuse.

Location: The hotel is in a mixed residential/commercial area of Norwich, its quiet and feels safe. The hotel is a short walk from The Riverside for restaurants, bars, cinema, etc. and close to local pub etc. it is a short walk from the station. There is no onsite parting - the street parking has daytime restriction. Facilities: There is a card secured front door and reception desk which is not 24hr. There is an onsite Indian restaurant. I didn't use it but it looked good. There is also a bar. The hotel offers a number of guest services such as a luggage locker, laundry etc. The public areas of the hotel are clean, well maintained, etc. The room: I had room 2 on the gorund floor. This was clean, spacious, and well equipped. So pleased to have a proper wardrobe! There was a tray of stuff such as fruit juice and biscuits. There is a small room safe also. There is an en suite shower room which was modern, clean and worked great. The bed was firm and comfortable. The linen was fresh. I like the characterful decor Service: Everyone at the hotel was friendly, professional and helpful. I was prepaid booking so I didn't need to do a full check in/out. Everything seemed organised and efficient. My only gripe was that the people in the next room to me were noisy at 5am interupting my sleep and had the TV on very loud. Oh well, an earlier start than expected! Thats just bad luck I guess. I would recommend this hotel and I will stay here again next time I am in Norwich.

I had a wonderful stay at this first-rate small three-star hotel within a short walk of Norwich railway station where you can take the train to London and the rest of East Anglia or where you can access the local bus network with direct transfer to the city centre and the rest of Norwich. The welcome was friendly and efficient felt like a valued customer from the outset. The communal areas were well-maintained and nicely decorated. The room was marvellous, also well maintained and presented, the bed was extremely comfortable with great linen, duvet and pillows, the television was adequate and the Wi-Fi worked well. The en suite bathroom was superb with good water pressure to the shower and nice towels. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean. Great stay and hotel which I can highly recommend to all.

Nous avons séjourné toute la nuit dans cet hôtel magnifique et nous avons trouvé le personnel très attentif. Notre chambre a été délicieuxment décorée à un niveau élevé. Nous avons réservé notre dîner dans la zone du bar, en profitant d'un fabuleux repas dans un bon environnement. Le petit déjeuner était aussi bon, avec des aliments chauds et délicieux.

Le personnel était très attentif et très attentif, et la chambre était très belle. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et vous accueille pour le jour. Merci.
