"La propreté était moyenne. Le ménage n'a été fait qu'une fois pendant notre séjour de quatre jours. Le service à la réception était excellent. Le petit-déjeuner était correct. Il y a une bonne pizzeria à proximité. Dans l'ensemble, c'était correct."

"Hôtel à l'aspect de résidence étudiante, avec du mobilier de basse qualité déjà fatigué. Arrivé dans la chambre à 20h30, chaleur insupportable dans celle-ci malgré l'ouverture des fenêtres. J'appelle le numéro de la "réception" pour demander s'ils ont des ventilateurs, la réponse : "désolé mais il n'y a personne pour le moment, on peut vous en apporter un demain matin si vous voulez". La belle affaire, je ne restais qu'une nuit. Face à l'impossibilité de m'endormir, j'ai dû changer d'hôtel au milieu de la nuit. Peut-être acceptable en hiver, mais à éviter absolument en été."

"Rien à redire sur l'hôtel. Malheureusement, nous avons eu de la malchance avec nos voisins de couloir. Il y avait une fête le soir, portes ouvertes."

"The location of the hotel is a bit outside of the city of Bruehl. Actually it is a kind of private house beside a former train station. Unfortunately there is nothing in walkway distance to the hotel, only the restaurant, which is also quite good. The hotel is almost in a forrest, so the area is very quiet. Even the trains you cannot hear in the rooms. The staff of the hotel is very nice and friendly. The rooms are big enough even for a long term stay. The room we had, was in the first floor and offers a door to the outside balcony or terrace. So very convenient, when you have bigger and heavy luggage. The breakfast was acceptable. No buffet, but therefore personally prepared by the hotel staff. At least the breakfast is nice and enough for the morning. They offer almost everything you can expect from such a family-run hotel. Parking is directly in front of the hotel and free of charge. Price-performance-ratio is good, even we find the price a little bit high for such a hotel. Anyhow they offer a very personal and friendly service. All in all we can say, that the hotel is a nice, quiet and clean place. Good for a short and long term stay. From this location you can travel to Cologne within 30 minutes by car. The hotel is in a quiet location which gives you a good sleep in the night. Good for walking in the forest, if you have time and like it. Feeling a little bit like home."

Hotel am Stern

"Nice small hotel with friendly staff. Parking isn’t free but 6 euros a night. I queried it for my motorbike and was shown a corner area where I wouldn’t have to pay which was appreciated. Room was a good size for a single and warm but had an air con unit which made a huge difference. Breakfast disappointing. Arrived an hour before it closed but no hot food or pastries left and not replenished. Close to the centre for evening meals etc."

Hotel Jägerhof

"Nous avons séjourné à l'hôtel Jägerhof pendant 1 nuit pour un événement. Nous avons reçu un accueil très chaleureux, notre chambre était d'une propreté éclatante et spacieuse. Le petit déjeuner est très bon, tout comme le café. Les gens ont posé des questions sur les plats à base d'œufs servis à table. Il y a suffisamment de places de stationnement disponibles. Le rapport qualité-prix est correct. Si nous revenons dans la région, nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Merci."
