Our stay was amazing. The grounds, the staff, and the food were all way above expectations! We stayed in a two-bedroom suite. The beds were very comfortable, and the views from the windows were spectacular. The included breakfast each morning was terrific and fresh, and you could choose eggs to order. We ate in the dining room every night, and the food choices were interesting and delicious. Overall, we found for the type of accommodation and the quality of food, the cost of our stay was very reasonable compared to other places in the region, From this location, we could drive to everything we wanted to see in Tuscany. We stayed four days, using the resort as our home base.

Il Verreno was the perfect Tuscan get-away. Set a bit off the beaten path, you approach the beautiful, recently renovated Tuscan style building set up high above the town. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with a long hallway and large separate bathroom. There were multiple common areas to hang out, read, play games, have a drink etc. The breakfast buffet was AMAZING! Francesca was the hostess and greeted us each morning with a smile. The buffet was delicious with dozens of meal options from freshly cooked eggs, quiches, breads and cakes, meat, veggies and cheeses, yogurt and granola with fresh fruit, fresh juices, coffee or tea. It was one of the best buffet breakfasts Ive seen at a hotel. There is a nice sized swimming pool overlooking the Tuscan countryside, surrounded by comfortable lounge chairs. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and comfortable. The restaurant on the premises is called DonnaLuisa. Absolutely delicious! From the minute we sat down until we finished out meal, everything was perfect!

Very nice place. One of the best breakfest we had in Italy. Big choice of eggs - everything fresh prepraed. Possible to make fresh juice and smoothie. Bog choice of sweets. Great coffee. The pool os very nice, rooms modern in Tuscan style. Very good restaurant with great food and wine and noce view. Vety nice and helpfull staff.

Il Verreno has an understated elegance about it. Everything is done well and you just don’t see it happening. Food is outstanding both in quality and presentation- chef Marialuisa is so imaginative but it is the setting and service that compliments it so well. Don’t forget the wines too, just ask and you will get a perfect paring from a selection of local wines you may have never heard of but will be looking for when you get home. A great team from the reception to the pool.

This Resort is absolutely fabulous the Staff are better than best so helpful and very attentive Breakfast was full of all the delights of Tuscany nothing was too much trouble to attend you A Classical buffet and concert during the week was so atmospheric and magical eating under the trees and the listening to super music was not to be missed Bedroom and facilities were superb could not fault anything

I've travelled in Tuscany many times and stayed in a number of hotels and this is one of the best if you are looking for good quality accommodation and food. I don't think it has too many rooms so if you're looking for intimate quality this is ideal. The customer service was wonderful, even emailing before our visit, and Silvia and the team were very attentive. Other notable positives, there is a small gym which is quite rare in tuscany, especially in a hotel of this size. It has a few machines and some weights. Breakfast, wow. There we so many cakes (great quality too) it was like having afternoon tea for breakfast. Fig jam, strange to mention I appreciate but so much of their food is homemade and this jam was out of this world. Unfortunately, they don't sell it otherwise I would have bought it all. I'll review the restaurant separately but it's rare for me to eat I'm the same restaurant twice and I'm not usually a fan of hotel restaurants but the food was very refined and unusual, and a surprisingly good price for the quality. There are a number of hotels of this size and style in the area, but the food and Silvia and her team set it apart.

Beautiful surroundings. Great rooms. Exquisite breakfast with all offerings imaginable. Staff who gave space and also anticipated our every need. Top notch chef and sous chef who created memories that will live forever. All in all an experience that was over imaginable

Wonderful dinner at Verreno Cucina Donnaluisa, we had the tasting menu, everything perfect and with attention to details, spaghetti with sea urchins was from another planet, great attention to the customer, never seen table service of this level. thank you guys.

There is absolutely nothing that can be complained about. The service is quick and friendly, efficient and uncomplicated. The rooms are spotless and the whole hotel area is very well cared for. Absolute recommendation! I would not recommend it for families as there is little to do for children (apart from the pool). The whole hotel is rather aimed at quiet and relaxation.

We held our wedding at Il Verreno in 2022 and it is a magical place we will return to again and again. Not only is it wonderful as a wedding venue, but it's great just as a place to stay on vacation. The rooms and grounds are beautiful and Silvia provides excellent service. You can't get better food than the wonderful restaurant Cucina Donnaluisa and the breakfast (included) every morning is delicious. The hotel is relatively easy to get to and not far from excellent day trips and wineries. We love Il Verreno and would recommend it for anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay or a venue for a special celebration.

Torno per la terza in questa meraviglia dove ti senti curato, coccolato in un paesaggio stupendo dal sapore medievale; la cena ricercatissima e la colazione con FRANCESCA .. così attenta da coccolarti con le tue preferenze senza nemmeno chiedere .. ti senti proprio in vacanza !

Un sogno! Struttura organizzata su più edifici con giardino molto curato e spazioso. Camere e bagni ampi, molto accoglienti e dotate di tutti i comfort. Dalla finestra un affaccio sulla natura toscana veramente rilassante. Per non parlare poi della cucina, noi abbiamo approfittato anche della cena e ve la consiglio assolutamente. Servizio e cibo ottimo. Non vedo l'ora di tornarci!

Location bellissima. Cibo fantastico atmosfera da sogno. Un apericena eccezionale.Complimenti e grazie per la bella esperienza.Non ho soggiornato ma credo che sia le camere che il terrazzo e il parco con relativa piscina siano altrettanto piacevoli.
