warm, clean and spacious room, near to underground station, good price

Great location, right on a strip of restaurants with a shopping mall less that 30 seconds walk. The apartments are built on top of a Lidl so great for purchasing food to cook at home. There’s a great range of appliance and kitchenware, alongside a washing machine and iron. All in all it’s perfect and very well presented. Only thing that let them down was the cleanliness, we found hair everywhere (even round the sink and in the bath) balcony was dirty and so were the table and chairs. If it was properly cleaned I would have said 5*

I have spent 4 nights here n I wanna share how disappointing my exp is! I couldn’t sleep these 4 nights! The location for this hotel is good though, there are shopping centre, restaurant n supermarkets within walking distance and the area is safe; the room is big and kitchenware ready but everything is dirty in the room, nothing is clean! The most unacceptable thing is they don’t provide bedsheets n there are hairs on the bed n pillows! It’s so disgusting to sleep on such dirty bed! Another thing is that, they charged altogether €20 cleaning fee n city tax which I don’t think they ve mentioned before booking, ironically the room is not clean n there is no service at all even I have paid for that €20! They mentioned they will give new towel on 4th or 5th day but no one clean or replace new towel! I would say if you ve got limited budget n you don’t mind to serve yourself/ clean the apartment by yourself, this is ok for its good location n kitchen. Otherwise, I believe there are a lot more choices at this price!

Prima appartement voor niet teveel geld. Aan de hygiene kan nog wel gewerkt worden en ook het fornuis deed het niet. Vraag bij het inchecken voor een routebeschrijving naar je appartement als deze in een ander gebouw zit.

First the pros: the location is very good, near metro, tram bus stops - really easy to get where you need. Nice pedestrian street with restaurants, cafes and shops + the shopping center - you can buy anything you need. One of the 2 receptionists I met was nice. The apartment had a good size, equipment and nice balcony. And now the cons: we already had troubles reaching the reception - first there is no place to stop your car while checking in and also getting to the reception is a problem - to get into the building you need to ring a bell to reception, which I did several times but got a strange automatic voice response in Hungarian, had no idea what to do. Fortunately somebody let me in then. The receptionist was quite rude and not very eager to help us, however, he did in the end - he walked us to the parking place in garage (which we have not booked in advance - did not know it was needed, but were lectured on the importance of booking in advance by the receptionist). We found out that the apartment was in a very different building than the reception and the garage place, also not 30/50m to the breakfast place as promised. We had the breakfast ordered via booking, but on the first they we realized it was not worth the price and you are not allowed to have what you want but have to pick from few combinations (sandwich+coffee+orange juice, muffin+croissant+cappucinno/hot chocolate, eggs+orange juice+coffee). Not really what we expected especially for kids, so we wanted to cancell the breakfast for the second morning. Returned the voucher on the reception, but have not got any refund. When I demanded on it during check out, after stating it was ordered via booking andcannot be cancelled in the full price, they returned only a part of the price (20euro out of 34). Now to the room - the bathroom was ok and clean, the rest of the apartment seemed only clean when you did not look under the bed or in the shelves. The floor was damaged, wall next to the sofa was awfully dirty. The worst part was that there were small ants in the kitchen. They waited us already with the welcome tea/coffee/candies package. They were really small but tried to get to any sweets that we left on the kitchen counter or table. I really hope we did not take any of them to our home by mistake. I do not recommend this experience to anyone, better avoid Sun resort apartments. But what I can definitely recommend is visiting Budapest in autumn, we had a really great time (despite the unfortunate choice of accommodation)

We spent here a spring short vacarion with our 8 yo daughter. Appartment we got was quite ok, no luxary but all functional. Building is nice and clean. Location of thw building was very good - it is in the pedestrian area and metro is very close, a lot of markets and caffes arround, and at the one end of the pedestrian is a small mall. For the visiting Budapast it was great.
