I have never been spoken to in such a rude manner in my entire life! At the time of booking, I indicated we would arrive around 9pm (we actually arrived at 9:04). The manager phoned me twice in the proceeding half hour to ask where we were. The room was perfunctory and ok, although other than the wood cladding on the outside of the building, I don’t know what makes it ‘eco’. Breakfast was interesting - a buffet, but Madame insisted on serving us and I had a row for helping myself to coffee. Disappointingly, there were no dairy-free options, which seems as odds with the ‘eco’ selling point. The tin hat though was the absolutely appalling way in which the Monsieur spoke to me. We had the audacity (!) to bring my husband’s very expensive bike in our room with us for safety. We were already settled for the night and the Monsieur knocked on the door, shouted at me in French with all sorts of expletives because we had the bike in our room. Unfortunately for Monsieur, I speak French and understood every word and was able to defend myself rather admirably. His antics were repeated on my husband prior to leaving too. Needless to say, we will not return to pay to be subjected to such aggressive and rude behaviours, and I strongly recommend that urgent customer service training is provided to the managers.
