This large 3700 sg. ft. Victorian-style home is in a quiet neighborhood only 1 mile from Downtown Cody. The home has a total of 4 charming bedrooms with 8 beds total which can sleep up to 10 people total (our local rules allow only 10), 3.5 bathrooms, living room, dining room, large kitchen with a ranch-style oven, dishwasher, and fridge. Wifi, Big screen TV with access to Netflix. Keurig coffee machine & also traditional coffee pot; washer and dryer are all available for guest use on the Guest Counter with purified water, organic cereal & fruit, tea and fridge with organic eggs and Greek yogurts!There is a spacious front yard with a porch swing, beautiful flowers and a back patio perfect for enjoying the Cody skies. Cheery with abundant natural light, The Roost is a 500 sq. ft. two story "not so tiny, tiny home" set among old growth cottonwood trees in a relaxed older neighborhood. Downstairs is a queen bedroom with en-suite bath, trundle in loft and air-conditioning. Numerous easy-open windows connect guests to the outdoors while the living/dining area offers R&R for family and friends with a full-sized sofa and fully equipped kitchen. Outside enjoy barbecuing and dining at the patio table.. The small front yard with privacy fence has 4 Adirondack chairs and a fire table to enjoy a quiet evening. Listen for the hoot of owls that live here and take in the stars that shine brightly without competition from other lights.The spaceOur guest house is finished with modern farmhouse charm and nice details. White quartz counters, custom cabinets, locally milled rough sawn floors. It also has air conditioning and on demand hot water.We live in the main house just behind the guesthouse. The Roost is located close to the airport and a quick bike or drive to downtown. There is a short trail close to our house that would make for a nice walk. It's also located 2 blocks from an elementary school with 3 playgrounds.Cody is 1 hour from the east entrance to Yellowstone. Yellowstone’s east entrance usually opens around May 6th and closes around November 7th. Yellowstone is only open to snowmobiling in the winter.Guest accessThere is a parking spot just in front of the porch. It easily fits one car or two small cars can squeeze in. You are welcome to park along the road as well. Please park your car along the fence (yes in the grass is just fine). Please don’t park in our driveway, it can make it difficult for us to get out. Welcome to our home in Cody, Wyoming. This 3 bedroom 2 bath end-unit townhouse has been completely updated with new bedding and furnishings. This home is well equipped for a large family, 2 families with children or 2-3 couples. We have a port-a-crib available for the tiny one. It is just minutes from downtown Cody and Shoshone River access. The main floor features two bedrooms - one with a king bed and 32" Roku Smart TV, and the other with a queen. The basement provides a separate large recreation room with a large sectional couch, a 43" Roku Smart TV, and a large third bedroom with 4 twin beds. The kitchen is well-equipped with new dishes and wares for your cooking needs. The dining table seats six, with additional casual dining nearby at the coffee table in the living room. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail on the back patio while enjoying the mountain views. The Shoshone Riverway Trail Access starts just outside the rear yard gate. Here, you can enjoy picnicking, fishing, hiking, biking, walking, rafting, paddle boarding, and birding. There is one onsite parking spot in the driveway, with several additional parking spots next door in the cul-de-sac (a single-bay garage can also be rented upon request for an additional fee). Enjoy this cozy upstairs apartment located in KB Lodge. This unique place can be rented alone or you can book the other apartment and rent the whole lodge. Apartment C is the smaller of the two. KB Lodge is located directly across from the world famous, Cody Nite Rodeo. You can sit on the deck and enjoy the views as well as be to close to convinces such as Walmart and delicious restaurants. This is a 2 unit building. You may have other guests in the downstairs unit. Also note the bed sizes and quintiles so ensure you will be comfortable. We also have an air mattress that can be set up for extra sleeping. The lodge is not very sound proof. Unfortunately, we did not find this out until after we completed the remodel.
