Belle croisière de 4 jours sur le Nil. Cabine très confortable, service d'entretien parfait. Belle piscine. Repas buffet copieux et variés. Dîners à thèmes. Spectacles tous les soirs très sympathiques.

A wonderful way to cruise the Nile. I thoroughly enjoyed this trip. The staff were top-notch - the bar servers, meal servers, chefs and cleaning staff - all awesome people. The buffet food was great and ever-changing. My tip - bring small EGP for kids (like 20 or 50egp) etc for when you are off the boat. The staff appreciate trinkets from home - like keychains and candy, and of course tips - and they work hard for them. Have flip-flops for the top deck - she can be hot! Overall for the price point this cruise is well worth it. If you are on a tour and get the option to go to Abu Simbel, do it! Same for the Nubian village. Huge thanks to all the staff at Chateau Lafayette for making our stay truly wonderful!

Small cruise ship, compact, so it feels "homey". The crew is nice and helpful, goes out of their way to be of service. There was some talk of "tips expectation" in Egypt in general, but I didn't feel that at all on this cruise. The crew seems genuinely helpful. The rooms were comfortable, although the bathroom a bit small. A/C was super cold! We had buffet meals on board, and the chefs made an effort to change up the menu, which we appreciated as we were pretty buffet-ed out by the end of the trip with different names for similar tasting dishes! Drinks on board by international standards were not expensive. The one thing that could be improved upon was the rattling noise from the vibration when the ship was sailing at speed. It was particularly loud at the dining/lounge area - luckliy the rooms were more insulated.

As part of my vacation package, I spent 3 nights sailing the Nile River aboard the Chateau Lafayette. I would describe is as a mid-range option. The accommodations were nice and clean. I loved that the room was a nice size, and the bathroom was full size as well. The food was good at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff was professional, helpful, and fun to sail with. Each night was a different theme, and the wait staff dressed differently each day. I am not a fan of big ocean cruises; so I was glad to have this pleasant experience on the smaller river cruise vessel. I think I would be open to another river cruise. The cleaning staff kept our rooms and the entire boat very clean each day.

This is a wonderful cruise ship! It is decorated in an elegant style. The beds are very comfortable and rooms are large for a ship. Our housekeepers were very kind and made elaborate towel art for us every day. The food was delicious! The roof deck has a nice sitting area with a bar and pool. My new friend Mahmoud, was especially kind in the bar and opened early to make me delicious coffee.

I stayed on this boat on what was my first ever river cruise, and was not disappointed! The staff on board were extremely friendly, the food was good, and there were plenty of events for the guests in the evening! The cleaners also spend a lot of time making funny inventions from towels, and we were always laughing upon our return to our rooms! This is a brilliant experience, and there are some great views from the top deck.

It was the most beautiful trip of my life, a real luxury trip. The ship is wonderful, our cabin was clean and large, nicely and tastefully furnished. A comfortable, huge bed, a spa bath equipped with everything. Nothing was missing! The food was gorgeous. They are spectacular, beautifully served, delicious and very varied dishes. We don't eat poultry, and I don't eat fish either, but I could still choose from at least 3 types of meat dishes! And desserts and fruits! They were divine! The staff was kind, polite, courteous, everyone tried to please us. My husband and I spent our wedding anniversary on the ship. It was amazing! The staff treated us with a cake and greeted us! It was very touching, we didn't even expect it. Thanks for it everyone! We really like to travel, we have already been to 70 countries, and we have just been to Egypt for the fourth time. But we have never had such an experience! We had nothing to complain about, we had a great time. Thank you and special thanks to Martina Michael for recommending this boat to us and getting us a better cabin! Eternal gratitude! Hope to be back next year!

This was the most wonderful holiday of my life.l am 85 and love to travel. There was nothing that l need complain about. The service of the entire staff including .the Captain and his crew welcomed us like long lost friends. The rooms were clean,beds were comfortable,pillows as soft as fluffy. Like sleeping on air. The food was spectacular and varied. Because we had travelled a long way to get to Egypt l booked for 14 days and everyone of those days was as good as the last. To visit the temples we had a wonderful guide Michael who took so much care of us and explained about everything we saw He was never late and had our welfare always in his thoughts. If you are thinking of a river cruise. Don't delay. Book it today You will not regret it

The best trip we ever had the cruise was excellent the food was delicious with a lot of variety and staff was very helpful and always smiling room was very clean thanks so much for everything for all Chateau staff and special thanks for ms Madlin "plant tours " for her support and good arrange for all visits
