A hidden gem… The family looked after us so well. Spotlessly clean. Near the main bit of Hoi A but tucked away. A beautiful stay ! A lovely Family run villa, who can’t do enough for you. Would highly recommend to stay here. Beds comfortable, nice size bathroom. You can hire a bike too. Walking distance from the old town of Hoi An

I was really satisfied with my stay at the hideaway. The hotel lies in a quiet location but in good walking distance to shops and the old town. The family that operates the hotel is really friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast served is tasty and the garden with the pool is very comfortable. They offer laundry services, drinks and free bicycles. I would always return here!

I have recently had a 20 night stay at HoiAn Hideaway Villas. From the moment you walk through the door you are greeted by the very friendly hosts Tien & Ha. The tropical oasis surrounding the pool and villas was very relaxing. The room was very clean and spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool. Ha produced the best omelettes for breakfast along with fresh fruits, baguette and tea daily and as a surprise we got to try traditional Vietnamese delicacies as well. Bikes were also available everyday free of charge to explore HoiAn. Tien and Ha are so wonderful that on my birthday they produced a birthday cake for me. I would highly recommend staying at HoiAn Hideaway Villas and I will return to stay again in the future.

A wonderful family run aptly named hideaway. Quiet yet within easy walking distance to the old Hoi An. Great pool, delicious breakfasts with sometimes a surprise Vietnamese add-on. Friendly and obliging owners. If I get to Hoi An for the fifth time, I'll be staying here again.

This is a small family run hotel which I would not hesitate to recommend. We had 9 nights in Hoi An at the HoiAn Hideaway and we were so pleased with the choice we had made. The owner’s communications were great from before arrival – we took them up on the offer of booking us a taxi from DeNang airport which was a very competitive price and meant that there were no issues in finding the accommodation, which is tucked away from the main roads. This location, however, is what gives it its appeal, its only a 5 minute walk from the hotel across the bridge to central HoiAn, yet it doesn’t feel like its in a town at all. The rooms were very spacious, even for a family of 4 with 2 teenagers and has great air con and also a fridge to use. They provide a free bottle of water per person daily which is a nice touch, however they do also sell water / soft drinks/ beer, all of which is competitively priced with the local shops. Whilst the air con is available in the room, as the bathroom has an outdoor shower, it isn’t obviously air-conditioned, however we didn’t find this a problem and liked the outdoor shower and the plants around it to make use of some run off. The pool was an absolute godsend and was a lovely temperature. It got the sun for the morning but was more shaded for the afternoon which again helped keep the area that bit cooler (though with the temps/humidity in Aug it was still very warm). The only recommendation I would have at all for any improvements to the hotel might be to increase the number of sun loungers around the pool. Whilst we didn’t ever have a problem getting a space while using the pool, if there are a few groups wishing to use the pool at once then you might struggle. There were 5 loungers while we were there, but probably has space for 8 at least I think. Breakfast was from 7am til 10am and was included in the cost of the accommodation - it certainly exceeded our expectations. You were asked to order the evening before your breakfast from a range of things; traditional Pho noodles and other Vietnamese dishes / omelettes / pancakes / bread and jams. In addition, you were brough a plate of 3 or 4 different fruits each morning (bananas, watermelon, kiwi, mango, passion fruit, dragon fruit, lychee, pineapple to name a few). The owners were lovely and asked if there were any fruits that we were yet to try that we would like them to get. There was also a choice of coffee /teas/ freshly squeezed fruit juices. It was great way to start the day and rarely did we need any lunch after this! If we are ever to go back to Hoi-An, we will definitely be back to stay!

We have had a wonderful 4nights at Hideaway, and regret not having booked for longer. The accommodation is spacious clean and as described. Pool clean and a great size for a small family run establishment. But best of all the staff are amazing.

We wanted to avoid the crowd and noise in the evening and this was the perfect location to take a break. The little swimming pool is a plus when temperature are super high and I really enjoy the open air bathroom, I've never seen that before and give something special to your stay. Family staff is super nice and helpful, we were provided honest local information on what to do in the neighbourhood and local restaurant. Breakfast is freshly cooked and tasty. You can borrow bike or even rent a motocycle, very handy if you want to be autonomous. I really recommend the hotel

Very clean, good AC and fan, good water heater and shower, spacious room and balcony, comfortable bed, new towels, nice pool... And the breakfasts! Excellent breakfasts. Menu choices are impressive for such a small place. I had different noodles and they were all cooked well. There are Western dishes too. The hospitality provided by the family running Hideaway is excellent. They are welcoming, kind and trustworthy. Such nice people who are good at what they do. Very thoughtful and personalised service - not easy to find. For eg., it took them only 2 mornings of observation to figure which fruits I prefer, and serve me only the fruits I like best on the 3rd morning, simply from remembering which I finished and which I didn't. Not a single word was exchanged about fruits. I had a very relaxing, safe and fuss-free stay. Just ask, and they will try their best to help you. Renting a scooter took them less than 15min to arrange.
