The homey and comfortable Mattresses is why I chosen here, we spend around a third of our lives in bed, should give ourselves the best experience, and highest quality rest we can.
Excellent value. Breakfast and garden dinner were always a good choice. We will definitely come back in the future!!!

The hotel's location is excellent. I arrived around 1:00 PM, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They arranged for an early check-in, allowing me to store my luggage in my room and promptly begin my exploration of Cambridge.

The interiors are tastefully designed, radiating warmth and comfort. The cleanliness throughout the premises is commendable - from the plush guest rooms to the common areas, every nook and cranny exudes a sense of freshness and hygiene. The peaceful surroundings coupled with top-notch facilities made my stay truly rejuvenating.
As for its location, it couldn’t be more ideal. Strategically situated in the heart of the city, the hotel offers easy access to major tourist attractions, business hubs, as well as shopping and dining destinations. Its prime location turned out to be a significant advantage during my trip, saving me considerable time on commuting and allowing me to explore the city effortlessly.
The check-in process was seamless and straightforward. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the courteous and professional front desk staff who swiftly processed my paperwork. L'emplacement est parfait. Vous pouvez voir la rivière Cam et la pelouse du parc d'attractions depuis la fenêtre. Vous pouvez trouver le terminal de croisière de Cambridge de l'autre côté de la route lorsque vous sortez à pied. Il y a un parking (payant).
Ce qui doit être amélioré, c'est :
1. Les fenêtres et les portes de la chambre donnant sur la rue ne sont pas bien insonorisées. On entend le bruit des voitures et les voix d'à côté à 06h00.
2. Le sol et les escaliers ne sont pas plats. Il semble qu'un ”niveau” n'ait pas été utilisé lors de la construction du bâtiment.
3. Le lavabo de la salle de bain est très petit et n'a pas de plan de travail. Ma trousse de toilette ne peut être placée que dans la baignoire.
4. Le téléphone dans la chambre est cassé.
5. La bouilloire électrique est pleine d’eau et d’alcali.
6. L'eau potable en bouteille n'est pas fournie, ce qui peut expliquer pourquoi la bouilloire électrique est pleine d'eau alcaline.
7. Le petit-déjeuner buffet propose très peu de variétés, à part le thé, il est tout froid.

Cet appartement se trouve dans un nouveau quartier de Cambridge, à quelques minutes en voiture de la zone touristique centrale. Il semble y avoir un arrêt de bus à côté, mais je ne le connaissais pas bien car je conduisais seul. L'hôtel propose un parking gratuit pour les clients, ce qui est très bien. L'entrée du parking souterrain est un peu magique, il faut en faire le tour par le chemin latéral. Il y a un ascenseur dans le parking pour s'enregistrer à l'étage G. La dame et le frère de la réception étaient très enthousiastes et ont présenté les installations et les utilisations de l'hôtel. La chambre de l'appartement est plus grande que prévu et la literie est propre et confortable. Il y a une grande table à manger dans le salon pour manger et travailler. La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec tous les ustensiles, mais le poêle chauffe très lentement et demande de la patience. Le four semble compliqué à utiliser et je ne sais pas comment l'utiliser. Comme je suis arrivé très tard, je me suis contenté de faire quelques nouilles. La cuisine ouverte dispose d'une machine à laver qui combine lavage et séchage. Cela m'a été d'une grande aide. J'ai lavé tous les vêtements que j'avais économisés pendant quelques jours. L'hôtel était très attentionné et fournissait des blocs de blanchisserie et de vaisselle. Il y a deux très grandes salles de bains dans la suite, ce qui est très agréable. La salle de bain de la chambre principale utilise un rideau de douche pour séparer l'espace douche. Bien qu'il y ait une barrière d'eau au sol, l'écoulement s'accumule toujours autour des toilettes dans le coin de la salle de bain, ce qui le rend un peu gênant. Ce que vous pouvez voir depuis la fenêtre, c'est l'appartement d'en face, et la vue, c'est le bâtiment. La salle est disposée au bout d'un long couloir, lui conférant une sensation de remise en forme à l'entrée et à la sortie. Dans l’ensemble, ce fut une expérience d’hébergement satisfaisante.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express Cambridge was absolutely wonderful. The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, making us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout our visit.
The customer service at the front desk was top-notch – a solid 10/10. The staff were incredibly helpful, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions we had.
The location of the hotel was perfect for our plans. Many of the places we wanted to visit, such as Cambridge University, the Cambridge Mosque, town centre were just a short 10-15 minute drive away. It made exploring the city so convenient and enjoyable.
The breakfast provided by the hotel was excellent, with a good variety of options to suit all tastes. The sitting area was clean and pleasant, adding to the overall great experience.
Overall, our stay at the Holiday Inn Express Cambridge was very enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cambridge!

Changbridge est une belle ville, cette fois-ci, je dois regarder bien la prochaine fois.

No bed for third person made up, called receptionist I was told someone will come and do it, this was at 19:00 no one ever came, even after following up over the phone. I spent night sleeping without bedding, on plain sofa bed without a single pillow. Terrible experience and poor service. Not enough towels, just for one person & again after calling reception- I was told that they ran out of towels!!! This was enough for my family to bare after whole day of travel, especially the room booked was Executive one. So expected to be up to highest standard and service to be over the top, this isn’t the case. Cleanliness is very poor - see pictures. Dust everywhere and this wasn’t one day worth. After asking for partial refund due to poor service, I was given a silly look and smile, advised to sent email online. Do not bother going there.

PPriscillaVery clean amenities and in close proximity to the train station. Breakfast can be purchased at a reasonable price and there is also a kitchen available if you want to make your own food.
As for drawbacks, I’d say the bunk beds (especially the upper bunk) tend to creak a fair bit, and there was no water for several hours in the morning, making it very inconvenient to go to the bathroom or wash up. The bedside lamps are also too bright. Perhaps dim yellow ones would be better. All being said, it was still a nice stay.

J'ai été attiré par les belles photos des autres quand j'ai fait la réservation. Après m'être enregistré, j'ai trouvé que c'était vraiment bien, mais j'ai dû conduire seul et m'enregistrer gratuitement. La chambre a été rénovée à partir du dortoir d'origine, pas tout à fait mais adéquate, pas de climatisation, légèrement plus froide, la qualité du petit déjeuner est bonne, l'environnement est de premier ordre, il est recommandé

NNBWDespite the slightly tired looking exterior, this is an excellent choice if you want a hotel in Cambridge, with parking, and walking distance to the city centre. Our room was on the ground floor but facing the rear and was very peaceful. The room is quite small but everything worked, it was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the shower water pressure was fantastic.
Breakfast, included in our package, was very very good. Plenty of choice and the cooked food was served on piping hot plates. Best of all, Jackie and Jan, the two wonderful ladies who served us. Actually they did more than serve, they made our breakfast memorable and warm. I hope these two ladies are well regarded by the hotel management, as we really want to return based upon their personal and very welcoming characters. Lovely, lovely ladies.
In case you didn’t realise, we thoroughly recommend this hotel.

IInvitéWe went for spa usage and facilities and was disappointed to find out swimming pool and spa were closed on Saturday @ 7pm. We then went around 8am on sunday only for one third of the swimming pool being closed for a few children’s swim class. The pool was already pretty small and it wasn’t as calm or relaxing any more as children were splashing etc. it’s a shame but I think the hotel needs to really allow longer hours for people to enjoy a more relaxed time in swimming pool for longer hours.

CChris HineI was disappointed that my room was not cleaned, nor bed made, after my first night. The sign requesting not to be disturbed was hanging on the door handle inside the room. I only discovered the note instructing me to hang another sign, found with the towels on a chair in the room, on the outside handle requesting ”new towels”, if I wanted the room serviced.
If the cleaners do not enter the room unless there is a visible request for new towels, what is the necessity of a sign requesting not to be disturbed? No one is going to come in.
I fully understand the advantages of not replacing the towels every day - and endorse that. But I would have liked to be clearly informed of the note in the paper that came with my room ”key”.

MMr C. ChanThe location is pretty good and in the Cambridge Services. You can buy foods and food shops and little stores beside the Hotel. It is just 20 miles from the City Centre of Cambridge. Free parking space is also provided by the Hotel.
