Points négatifs : - petit déjeuner avec seulement du café, pain toasté et confiture ! - 2 nuits ici, et les chambres n'ont pas été faites entre les deux ! - loin du centre ville, 40 minutes à pied. - en bord de mer, mais on ne la voit pas à cause de bâtiments."

"L'hôtel Plaza Colonial est idéalement situé à deux pas de la place centrale et de l'église principale. Le bâtiment est vieux avec une nouvelle peinture. L'ascenseur est sur le petit côté avec deux personnes. Les chambres sont spacieuses et les lits sont confortables. Les chambres sont de base. L'espace est petit, la salle est très propre, sauf un parade de cochon en plein milieu de la chambre la première nuit que nous avons déménagé. Nous l'avons signalé au récepteur et elle était choquée comme nous."

"I love this hotel, and love Campeche. I've been there several times to Campeche and will continue visiting from time to time. This is a new hotel in a great location. When I return I will definitely stay there again. The hotel is beautiful; it's in an old colonial building and beautifully remodeled. The rooms are all nicely decorated and very charming, different from one another, decorated in their own style. The courtyard area is a beautiful, relaxing space. Next door is a restaurant, which we ate at several times, and there are two OXXOs about a block and a half away from the hotel, one of them being open 24 hours a day. So if you arise early, you can walk over there to get your coffee. The hotel is very close to the main plaza as well. We used the free bikes that were available to us to ride on the bike path that goes along the malecon. We had a bit of trouble with the entrance key, and the key to our room, but the owner can be contacted through WhatsApp and is available to help you at any point in time, so he helped us out. Please note that they are combination keypad/key locks and I did not know how to operate them as I am not familiar with that type of lock. There are a couple of staff there during the day, although there is no front desk check-in. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to my return."
