Lovely welcoming from the housekeeper, as well as a warm, delicious homemade breakfast. The property is located in a nice, safe area, walking distances away from convenient stores.
The only suggestion would be to install televisions, especially for those nights, taking a break from your daily activities

The accommodation was ideal, and exactly as portrayed on the website, from the spacious bedroom with bay views, to the well appointed bathroom with it's glorious views while you're in the shower. Situated within walking distance of the beach, rail station, restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. Certainly ticked all our boxes. What a master bedroom, I'm going to be hard-replicate it in the future.

Great location and views. Close to Kalk Bay and Muizenberg and the St James Station, beach huts and tidal pool and beach walk. Lovely room with stunning views and all facilities at a good price. Friendly and helpful staff and great breakfasts. Would definitely stay again.

Just a perfect location with all the tick boxes - Stunning views from the terrace, short walk to the St James tidal pool, a easy walk to Kalk Bay shops and restaurants, comfy beds and Yoliswe was super friendly and made sure were happy at all times. The breakfast was a bonus and I would certainly be back here soon.

We never stayed at Blue on Blue. There was nobody there to answer the gate bell nor the knocks on the door. A kind neighbour saw the 2 couples standing in the rain and offered to help. He phoned the manager of Blue and blue who told us that arrangements had been made with Sonnekus for us to stay there. Sonnekus weren't aware of payment arrangements and we opted to make our own arrangements for the overnight stay. Altogether a bad experience. Celebrating a special birthday turned out to be a disaster.

Clean facilities. Friendly staff. Great view of the ocean. Delicious breakfast. Reasonable price. Safe parking. This was our first stay at this establishment but we would definitely stay at this facility again.

Friendly, quirky B&B, filled with the most beautiful South African art and decor. Yoliswa is such a sweetie and made sure my stay was perfect. Comfy room with a stunning sea view. Sparkling clean. Will definitely be back.

This is a sweet guest house in a good location to walk to Kalk Bay but not have to be IN it. The lady that runs the place keeps it spotless and with my special diet, made me hard boiled eggs every morning vs me having a sit down breaky. Bed was great, hot hot water good and was perfect for the week I was in the room. 2nd week; This was the 2nd week I stayed at this guest home, upgrading to a room with a lovely bath and some workspace. I have nothing to fault with the home and the people I met there. All was so clean and tidy, comfy, calm and really well done. The home itself is so special with a real S. African feel with colours and small touches.

I spent a fortnight in this rather special B&B. I appreciated the position (with a view of the bay from my bedroom), the simple but stylish furnishing and decoration and the efficient management of the establishment.
