Daddy Long Legs Art Hotel

J'y ai séjourné lors d'un voyage d'affaires. Mon associé a refusé de passer la nuit. La première chambre puait. Oreillers dégoûtants. Patio sale. Ensuite, la mosquée adjacente organisait un service de prière, qui semblait avoir lieu dans ma chambre. Le prochain service de prière était prévu à 4h30 du matin. Je suis peut-être trop vieux pour cet établis*****t, mais il est plus proche des routards que d'un hôtel.

My wife and I enjoyed The Daddy Long Legs Hotel ( what a name and it speaks to the cool vibe the place has). I would recommend the hotel for a number of reasons. 1. Manie and his staff were extremely welcoming and very interested in making us comfortable, me in particular. I suffered with very sore and achy feet while I was visiting South Africa . As my wife went off to every possible walking tour , I stayed fairly close to Long Legs. I was set up with a Black Label or a Savannah Cider in the lounge area to watch the women’s World Cup and other interesting programs.The balcony was also nice to relax. 2. Our room which was called The Open Room was very comfortable and quiet. It was on the top floor not facing busy Long Street. I loved the room and the Queen sized bed. 3.The location is quite convenient to many places of interest like St. George’s Cathedral ( Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s ), Company’s Garden, The Parliament Building. We enjoyed breakfast several times at The Ladder and Gingers cafe just a few blacks away. The staff are a relatively small group and I really enjoyed their kindness and good company when I was hanging out. Great fun at a very reasonable price.

Daddy Long Legs Hotel is a great choice, very centrally located, all interesting sights in walking distance or just take the bus directly in front of the door. Nice terrace with a view to a lively street. Absolutely fantastic team, always ready to assist and help, give advices or just open for a nice chat. I felt very welcome, happy and pleased and will certainly return!

Very friendly and charming hotel located on Longstreet. Received plenty of good advice on where to go and where to eat. Very friendly and open staff. We would definitely come back if visiting Cape again.

I had such a lovely stay in this beautiful hotel! Second time here actually - the first time I stayed in one of the self-catering apartments which was beautiful and very well located. This time I stayed in one of the Art Rooms in the hotel (not too far a walk from the apartments) and was floored by how professional and friendly the staff were, as well as how creative and fun the room I stayed in was (The Protea Room). The front desk was alls smiles and helpful advice, and the room was cleaned well everyday and always well stocked. I had a few questions about the local area and some sight seeing suggestions and they were only too happy to assist and gave some really decent advice. 10/10 would always come stay here on a trip to Cape Town!

Once expectations are aligned, you won’t be as disappointed as I was. Marlene at check in was a honey and the themed room cute. Our shower drain was blocked, aircon wasn’t working properly, duvet was thin, we asked for additional blankets and received another duvet.

Arriving at the hotel was pleasant and reception was warm and friendly. The hotel is pretty cool and love the concept however it needs some upgrading though. I completely understand that Long Street is a very busy street and even more so at night and i was prepared for outside noise. But the noise inside the hotel was horrendous!! We had no sleep at all. Doors banging, people shouting and sounded like they were playing soccer or basketball also at the top of their voices and the constant pounding. Once that subsided... Someone started beating a guy up and had to lay and listen to this guy scream and cry that felt like it went on for ever until i heard someone intervene. My husband and I packed our things and walked out 2:30am that morning and drove home. No sleep and very unsafe. I Don't recommend at all.

Most beautiful stay,very comfortable.Me and my partner would definitely choose to stay at Daddy long legs again. I love the fact that the room had air conditioning , wifi and most importantly a safe where we could store all our precious belong we had brought with us. The staff is very friendly and the drinks on arrival is a fabulous idea. Keep up the excellent service.
