« Staff were amazing!! Can’t thank them enough for guiding us along this trip.
Sadly the room was not up to standard,
Really disappointed with the bathroom, silverfish in the sink and bath, shower was unusable due to clogged trains, beds were clean. Room included iron and board alongside other little amenities.
General hygiene of the hotel was great, downstairs was beautiful, although we didn’t eat/ drink from the bar and restaurant it did look very nice.
View was beautiful but would’ve been nicer if the windows were clean and hairless. »

« Il n'y a pas de pression dans la douche, l'eau coule très lentement, les toilettes sont sales, le siège des toilettes est cassé, la pièce est chaude malgré la fenêtre ouverte, une forte ventilation ou une certaine climatisation indiquée, pas de café, thé dans la chambre , il faut aller à la réception pour ça et c'est un autre bâtiment, et le matin après une dure nuit il n'est pas agréable d'aller n'importe où sans café ou thé, à la réception service sympa, malgré les détails, prix ok, emplacement également à environ 12 minutes en voiture du centre »

« The Angel Hotel was perfect for a short City Break. The staff were all great, friendly and professional. Check in and out was simple. The room was ideal, slightly dated but everything was spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable and the shower had a good powerful flow. We were only there for one night so the only other service I tried was the Bar. Again the service was first class. The Hotel has a central location just opposite the Castle. I would highly recommend this Hotel and I would definitely book again. Thank you. »

Le design de l'hôtel est de style industriel, les chambres sont spacieuses et le lit est extrêmement confortable. Les toilettes situées au sixième étage ont une atmosphère très calme et élégante. Le petit-déjeuner servi par le restaurant est délicieux. Le seul inconvénient est que l'ascenseur était en panne pendant mon séjour. »

拔拔記Undeniably, the location of the hotel is perfect as it is very close to the Cardiff Castle and the city center, only few minutes to there. The hotel also provides carpark with a reasonable charges. The staff is friendly, except that when we requested 2 more pillows, the staff questioned us why we did not take the spare pillows in the wardrobe where he didn't realize that those pillows were taken by his colleague who took them to set up 2 sofa beds for us. We explained this to him but it appeared to me that he was very impatient and impolite and cut the line. At last, of course the staff did not follow up.
Same as other advise, the hotel really needs renovation as the decoration and fittings are old and outdated.

IInvitéI recently stayed at the Leonardo Hotel and, unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. While the room was clean and well-presented, the noise levels were unbearable. Throughout the night, we were disturbed by the sounds of voices from the adjacent rooms and the floor above us was consistently creaking as guests moved around.
When I mentioned these issues to the receptionist during checkout, I was disappointed by the lack of response or apology. Overall, this affected the quality of my stay significantly, and I do not intend to return. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel.

Commandez mieux leurs plats du jour, cependant, cette fois, mes œufs pochés n'étaient pas mous. Excellent vin et excellent déjeuner au bar qu'ils nous ont permis de manger au restaurant, ce qui était un bonus. J'adore cet endroit. Promenades à travers les zones humides et vers Penarth et liens faciles vers Barry Island. Le spa est génial et le quartier calme à côté de la salle de sport est génial pour lire

FFilnadService was top-notched. As a hilton gold member, i was given complimentary upgrade to the King Junior Suite. We had access to the lounge as well. Overall, it was an amazing stay. Would definitely comeby again next time.

IInvitéClayton était bien pour les hôtels, il était agréable d'avoir une vue sur Cardiff du haut de la planche, le personnel était aussi aimable.
La salle de bains était petite pour la taille de l'hôtel, la chambre était une chambre double standard, les examens ont dit que le Clayton avait été rénové, mais sentait que la chambre était datée. La chambre était propre, peu de tiges sur le tapis et le sol se sentait poussié.
La situation de l'hôtel était grande, près de la gare et dans la ville, mais pour le coût, j'attendais quelque chose de beaucoup mieux, comme la nuit avant que nous avions un hôtel beaucoup moins cher, et les chambres sont venues avec cuisine, et étaient très modernes - si j'avais été là pour les quelques nuits supplémentaires.

IInvitéI really enjoyed my stay overall. The location was fantastic—on a beautiful street—and the hotel building itself is stunning. When I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by a very kind Italian gentleman, which gave me a great first impression. My room, though located in a separate area, was clean, modern, and nicely decorated. Everything looked fresh and well thought out.
However, I was disappointed to find visible stains on the bed sheets. While I believe they had been washed, the stains hadn’t come out and the sheets were still used, which didn’t match the high standard the rest of the hotel presented. I think they should have replaced them.
Another minor inconvenience was the bathroom light, which was automatic and triggered the extractor fan. This meant that even during the night, using the bathroom caused the noisy fan to stay on for a while, which could’ve been avoided with a manual light switch, in my opinion.
Despite these issues, the stay was mostly very positive, but I can’t give a full five stars because of the sheets. Hopefully this can be improved for future guests.

The staff were very friendly but it seems that they somehow lack of experience. I booked a room on trip.com and had prepaid for the stay. But I was charged again for the stay when I checked out. Thank god trip.com was able to refund from their side.
The room has no window, so only the Air Con provides ventilation. Bathroom can smell sometimes.

TThismorningiwokeupinI stayed here for a business trip for one week. The room seemed to be clean but it is so dark that you can’t really tell if it is clean or not. That’s actually an issue - the lightening is bad. I couldn’t really work in the room since it had only a yellow ambient lightening and not a normal main source of light. The bathroom can be slightly cold if you don’t leave the door open so that warm air from the A/C can enter. It is shameful that they don’t have a breakfast included, especially for long stays in the hotel which is not so cheap and out of the center… at least one small sandwich would make things better, but nop 👎🏼. Another thing is that the area is not very nice. Unless you have to do something in that area, i don’t recommend you to stay. I was even told by taxi drivers to not walk around alone after it gets dark. Before I knew that, I did take a walk and it really felt a bit unsafe. The staff was ok, I didn’t have much contact with them. Only had an incident when I arrived - they couldn’t find me in their system (it was booked under other name by mistake but I actually changed it a week before arrival so I don’t know why they didn’t have updated information). There is a small gym, but almost all machines, except one, are for cardio exercises. Almost no restaurants or shops in the area.

IInvitéWe arrived at Cardiff Central by train, which is 15mins walking to this Premier Inn. It was very welcoming and staff friendly, rooms clean, with as much tea and coffee, which you took from the travellers store at the main entrance. My only gripe is as I have dietary requirements, They couldn't cater for them and had to make do with what was on offer. No gluten free food at night, Only what I would call general burgers, lasagne, steak battered fish and chips. Only veg on offer was peas. In this day and age Hotels need to cater for a variety of people's health conditions. Vegan/vegetarians are not Gluten free or Ibs sufferers or Celiacs. Which are complicated problems. It would be helpful if they offered something which could be adapted. .
