After a full day roaming LEGOLAND, this old papa is too exhausted to make an attempt at a night drive 3 hrs to get back home. So, we changed it up this last jaunt and reserved a room at The LEGOLAND Hotel. Two weeks out, and only the ADVENTURE THEME room was available for reservations. Both KINGDOM & PIRATE THEMED zones were all booked. Are those more popular options??? Guess ya gotta commit a lot earlier to get those choices. No complaints here though, my young squires were COMPLETELY jazzed about the whole experience when they found out we were staying overnight here! The Adventure Theme ( a la "Indiana Jones") is on the third floor, which means many rides on what has to be THEE coolest elevator EVER! Whatever theme is on the first floor, y'all are missin' out!!! Never had to wait long for elevator access either :) Love ALL the LEGO decorations throughout the hotel. No holding back in the rooms, either. Rooms were clean & spacious enough for our crew of 5. Bunk bed with trundle had lotsa stoke factor, and allowed us parents to sleep comfortably IN OUR OWN queen bed with no inadvertent attacks by sleeping tossy turny munchkins! Doh! For the amount of kids runnin' around, we had a peaceful slumber :) Now that I've finished telling my whole story, I want to thank 2 employees who we met yesterday and closed this wonderful stay with my squires and I. Her name is Isidora, a very kind, and Jorge, very kind too. They said goodbye to us by giving us a Mr. Gold and Lego badges. The best thing about the morning.
