Traditional Adobe Hacienda style, Mid-Century home (4 Bedroom/3 Bath) near the Catalina mountains in a quiet, established neighborhood near Casa Adobes with a beautiful, serene retreat setting. The 1.5 acre property includes a newly constructed entry with stucco walls, brick-line granite-pebble driveway, new landscaping and lighting and a custom wooden front door. Beautiful, enclosed backyard with trees, planters, private pool, large outdoor gas fireplace and seating area, dining area under a pergola with outdoor gas grill and bar, bubbling fountain, chaise lounges with umbrellas, shade from large eucalyptus and olive trees, Catalina sunset views, stucco walls and new landscaping throughout. This updated house includes two large living areas - both with wood burning fireplaces, comfortable seating and flat screen TVs. The living room includes comfortable seating, TV, wood burning fireplace, large wooden desk/workstation, and large sliding glass doors that open to the backyard and pool area. The newly updated family room has a Kiva-style fireplace, wooden beam and board ceiling, with large flat screen TV, and large windows that open to a private, walled courtyard with views of the Catalinas at sunrise and sunset. The kitchen/dining area includes a large wooden dining table that extends to seat 8-10, and an adjacent kitchen with updated appliances and amenities. The dining area also has large sliding glass doors that open to the outdoor patio, with a large outdoor table (seats 6-8) topped by a pergola with string lighting at night. Two larger, more private bedrooms are located at the rear of the house separated from the living areas. The first one is a medium sized guest bedroom with queen bed and adjoining full bathroom with updated shower and granite covered sink. The second bedroom is a large owners suite with a king bed, huge closet, flat screen TV which opens into a brand new private, spa bathroom with double shower, double soaking tub and (yes) double sink - all topped by marble with white subway tile on the walls and mosaic tile on the floor. This new spa bathroom opens into an outdoor spa area that is separate from, but adjoins the pool and will include an outdoor shower and seating area. There is a hot tub in this spa area - that will be locked as it cannot be used by guests due to insurance restrictions (our apologies). The remaining two bedrooms that are more centrally located include one bedroom with full bed and one with two twin beds - with a separate full bathroom (tub/shower combo) between the two bedrooms. Other amenities include: laundry room with new purchased washer and dryer, high speed internet (via google mesh), Wi-Fi, basic Xfinity cable boxes and access to log into your favorite apps (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon) on all three TVs, Google Speakers to play your music, and covered off street parking (carport holds 2-3 cars). Pool heater can be turned on for an additional charge (typically $350-450 per week depending on weather). While situated on a quiet street, the home offers easy access to hiking, shopping, golfing, entertainment and excellent dining...that is....if you ever leave the back yard :-). Things to Know: - No pets (even though we love ours) - No smoking on the premises (unless you are making warm fires in the fireplace) - No large parties and events (but family and friend dinners and gathering are fine) - No overnight commercial vehicle parking (unless you planning to do work on the property for us) - Lots of pool towels are in the laundry room along with laundry detergent (but leave the house supplies in the back of the laundry room undisturbed). - Hall coat closet has hiking pools if desired. - Dining/Kitchen Pantry has some food supplies in it that you are welcome to (but the top shelves will look like an Irish Tinker's Wagon) - Games and puzzles can be found in the left side of the bureau in the family room (with the kiva fireplace). - No glassware near the pool (use the plastic wine and drink tumblers for your bevies) - Good neighbor policy - quiet hours are between 11pm and 8am. - All Outdoor Security Cameras Will Be TURNED OFF - during your rental - you can tell as there will not NO Green Light on the cameras. - While the pool has safety equipment, the pool can be accessed directly from the back doors of the house - so kid safety should be considered before renting this property. Note that due insurance restrictions we are unable to provide you with pool floats. Please feel free to bring your own. - Carport has motion sensor lights to allow easier access to side door in the evening. - Coded entry via lock on side-door of house. You will find traditional metal keys for the front door, spa bath back door and shed door inside the house. - A family of large owls will sometimes visit you in the evening hooting from the trees - possibly considering if your steak on the grill is worth the risk (kidding) Enjoy! - We are unable to provide a baby crib due to insurance restrictions.....please feel free to bring your own. Just WOW The house was AMAZING! Master bedroom and bath looked like it was from an episode of Fixer Upper, the pool and landscaping was even prettier in person than in pictures! The entry porch area had the most beautiful view of the mountains and the fireplace by the pool were perfects spots for morning coffe talk and evening whispers! Jack was the perfect host and went out of his way to make everything just prefect for our stay!! This VRBO is a gem! Thanks for helping us make such wonderful memories!

Spectacular getaway oasis The generosity, kindness, and attention to detail of the hosts and property manager showed through in every detail. From the welcome card and treats when we arrived to the beauty of every space indoors and out, it was a perfect stay. There were eight of us during our visit, from age 22 to 82, with a number of us having mobility issues. This was no problem at all because the house, yard, and the entire property is highly accessible. Attention to detail made it comfortable and beautiful to stay at this lovely home. Someone was in the pool almost around the clock, and we ate every meal outdoors. It was the perfect home base for three generations to vacation and celebrate my daughter's graduation from U of A. Hands down this was the best vacation rental we have ever experienced. I would recommend this home to anyone and hope to be able to come back again in the future.

Great Rental! We've been coming to Tucson regularly over the past couple of years to visit our daughter in college, and this is by far our favorite place we've stayed. The house is super comfortable and very clean. The kitchen is really well stocked, which made it easy to cook in when we didn’t feel like eating out.It’s close to restaurants and shopping but tucked away enough that it’s quiet and peaceful. The real highlight for us is the backyard and pool. It’s such a great space to relax and spend time as a family.We’ve stayed in quite a few rentals in Tucson, and this one stands out in terms of comfort, cleanliness, and overall vibe. We’ll definitely be booking again on our next trip!

Relaxing oasis with everything you need! This was hands down the best rental we have ever stayed. The outdoor space was lovely with plenty of options for lounging by the pool, cozying up by the outdoor fireplace, taking in the beautiful mountain views or eating a meal with the family. The inside of the house was super clean with spacious sitting rooms and large dining room table. The kitchen was fully equipped, bathrooms were spotless, stocked with toiletries, and amazing plush towels. The bedrooms had lots of closet space, and cozy beds with luxurious linens. Fireplace, grill, TVs and WiFi all worked wonderfully and were super simple to use. We had the pool heated and it was delightful, super warm upon our arrival and all week without issue. The property manager was welcoming, extremely responsive, and made sure our stay was like a home away from home! Highly recommend!

Oldie but goodie This property was an older home but very well maintained and well stocked with everything you might need. There was nothing broke and nothing that didn’t work, which is unusual. Four couples, mid 50’s to mid 70’s. Plenty of room for everyone. The guys played golf and the women shopped, hiked and ate at various unique restaurants. Property was convenient to everywhere we wanted to go, pool was just right temperature. We could not ask for a better experience. Manager was very informative with short videos of how to operate things and there was lots of local information in notebook. We have rented VRBO’s for 20 plus years here in Tucson and in Phoenix/Scottsdale area and this property along with the property manager was head & shoulders above anything else we have ever rented. This property is gold star for cleanliness, location, and exceeded our expectations. Thanks Jack , enjoyed our stay and hope to be back.

Backyard oasis This home had a fantastic outdoor living space. Most of our time was spent there enjoying the pool and fireplace. The primary suite was beautiful. Everything we could think of was provided and the Manager was so helpful and accommodating. In addition, the resource material regarding the home and local activities was extremely helpful. We had a great time a look forward to a return trip. Many thanks to the owners and manager.

A beautiful house and perfect location Everyone was very attentive to our comfort and needs. The house and property are absolutely beautiful, clean and well maintained. Nice, peaceful location. The house was well stocked with amenities (such as extra towels, toothpaste, toothbrushes and toiletries, coffee, sugar, flour, paper towels, etc). We loved staying here, and found the location to be very convenient as well. We hope to stay here again next year! Ten out of ten stars! Thank you!

Excellent The property was as described, clean and well stocked. We were welcomed the moment we walked in with excellent communication regarding various use of components of the house. Our family really felt that if we needed something it would be arrranged by Jack the property manager. Also the owners were easy to work with and also confirmed our satisfaction. Great property inside and out!!!
