If you want a care free vacation experience, this is not the place. I write this as I’m still here and as a professional in the travel industry I am quite shocked. First, (and not the reason why I am writing this review) I reserved a Classic Room and a Riva Room. The Riva room should be 30% bigger, it is not. The only difference between my two rooms is the Riva room has a small walk in closet, I had no intention of spending an extra 150€/ night for a closet!! Second, if you want to spend your time worrying about towels then this is the place. Went to the beach and got towels. When we left the beach was told we can leave the towels on the chairs. Went to the pool and they wouldn’t give us new towels, as we were told the towels we received at the beach were the same towels we were entitled to for the pool, and that we should talk to the front desk manager. After speaking to the front desk manager I was told I have to stay with the same towels !! Furthermore I was told read the fine print in the towel card, guest are only allowed to change towels 2 times a week. How absurd for a resort! As a travel professional who owns an agency I can tell you, guest do not want to be worried about towels and be schlepping towels around while on vacation. I will not be recommending this hotel to clients and am writing this to advise you the reader as well. Unfortunately, after reading some of the other reviews here on TripAdvisor (and the hotels responses), it appears the hotel refuses to learn from guest feedback (and only makes excuses for their behavior), as it seems I am not the only guest with this sort of experience.
