Bellini Home B&B

Lovely place in a historic building. Very clean and quiet. Rooms are big. Walking distance to every point in Catânia. If you have a car you can leave it at a parking garage paying a extra fee (don't worry about leaving the key). Breakfast had cakes, bread, coffee and you could see the Etna from the terrace. AC worked really well. The host and everybody were very nice. Lovely and authentic italian place to stay.

Perfect location for people who like to discover cities while walking. Fantastic rooms with lots of design details. Every room has his own bathroom. Very friendly stuff and owner Loredana. Perfect breakfast and lovely terrace. We enjoyed our stay there a lot and can highly recommend to stay there. Thank you guys for everything!

While in Catania we stayed at the Bellini B&B. We arrived a little early and first climbed several sets of steep stairs with our luggage to find the doors locked. Calling the local Italian phone number on the door Loredana said she would be right over. About 15 minutes later the door open and we were greeted warmly an offered conversations in either English or solid German. We then learned of the elevator (smile) we could use in another part of the building that was slow, oddly designed, small, but very helpful. The location is excellent for exploring the center of the city and is next to a walking park. Many excellent restaurants are nearby including one directly below the B&B. We had a car, and a garage with parking services was offered at a reasonable rate just around the corner. The garage is not a part of the B&B, but it was safe and watched by the business running the service. A supermarket is across the street. The room and bathroom is clean, had a small refrigerator, in a quiet area, the bed was OK, and for Italian standards is well maintained. Breakfast was generous, home made, and the baked goods are tasty. We did have a price difference in the breakfast cost vs the website advertised cost, but we did not call it out. For coffee you might want to consider other options, or hand make your own as we did. Driving in and out is “OK” but you must have nerves of steel and a good navigation system to drive anywhere in Sicily. We stayed five nights and had a great time exploring Catania and other nearby cities for the sights and food. We recommend Bellini B&B for the adventurers like us.

We had a lovely 2-night stay at the Bellini Home B&B. The staff was incredibly kind and gracious and made us feel right at home. The breakfast is simply delicious with homemade Sicilian cakes and pistacchio cream. The rooms are spacious, well air-conditioned and very quiet (even though you are in the city centre). Everything was clean and Covid regulations were respected. The terrace for enjoying breakfast is lovely. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the main sites of Catania. The Bellini Gardens next door are a nice escape from the heat on a summer's day. We look forward to staying again on a future trip to Catania. Grazie mille!

Struttura molto vecchia nel centro di Catania . Esternamente il palazzo è fatiscente con un' impalcatura interna oramai esistente da molti anni .Il cortile interno è molto mal tenuto e sporco. Il cortile esterno pieno di piante mal tenuto anch' esso.Le scale molto ripide ovviamente portare le valigie è faticoso. Vi è un piccolo ascensore ma spesso è rotto.La stanza confortevole e l' interno del b&b è ben tenuto. Le colazioni sono curate e abbondanti. Sicuramente non ripeterò l' esperienza perché la struttura esternamente non è curata.

Fantastica posizione nel centro di Catania. Comodo per visitare la città a piedi. Il palazzo silenzioso e vicino ad un giardino bellissimo. Pulito e letto comodissimo. Eccellente la padrona di casa sia per i sui consigli e per le torte fatte mano.... ogni mattina una sorpresa. Colazione ottima e abbondante..il cappuccino....provatelo, come lo fa lei.... nessuno! Brava!

Punto strategico della città … con parcheggio a pagamento molto vicino. Palazzo nobiliare dei primi del 900 che secondo me necessità un restauro …. No accessibile ai disabili perché x accedere al bagno c’era un gradino . Bagno un po’ retro’ … ma in piena armonia con tutta la location. Colazione ottima !!! Lo consiglio e ci tornerei !!!!

La struttura all’interno è di recente ristrutturazione in un palazzo d’epoca a 4 passi dal centro di Catania. B&b arredato con gusto, silenzioso e accogliente adatto ad una coppia ma anche ad una famiglia. Abbiamo alloggiato in una quadrupla ( 2 adulti e 2 bambini ) e la stanza è ampia, silenziosa, accogliente, pulita e dotata di ogni comfort: persino un vero asciugacapelli! La colazione è spettacolare, una vera colazione. Loredana è una perfetta padrona di casa: ti accoglie col suo sorriso, ti racconta la sua città e ti fa sentire subito di essere a casa. Ci siamo sentiti davvero a casa seppure lontani dalla nostra di casa! Consigliato, ci torneremo. A presto!
