Domus Viatoris

The hotel is easy to find close to the large bullring. Very helpful staff at check in and throughout our one night stay. Breakfast excellent for €6. As with all these budget hotels no AC which in the current heat wave made sleeping a challenge! Well worth a visit

We travelled as a group of 10 on the Camino and stayed here 1 night. We had a late dinner which was lovely and a great breakfast the next morning. The rooms were clean and tidy and spacious. The staff were extremely helpful and could not have done more for us. The hotel is in a good central location. The town is a busy enough place with lots to do. Personally I washed my clothes in the launderette and had a drink in the Irish bar across the road waiting for them to be ready.

I want people to know how lovely this place was and how beautiful Sabina the hostess was. While I stayed 2 nights while walking the Camino I heard Sabina call every guest by their first names. Now that is a skill. She was always smiling and that's another skill. I would urge everyone to stay here. She also offered to do our laundry too. Short walk to everything and the food was excellent. Sabina was the nicest hotelier we met in 40 nights of travelling through Spain.

From arrival to checkout, we enjoyed our two night stay. We were caught headed to the laundromat and our host offered to do our laundry so we could rest and freshen up for dinner. We ate dinner both nights here and enjoyed our meals, with our vino tinto of course, which had the Hostel Dumas Viatoris on the bottle. The pork loin is the best I’ve had and seasoned perfectly. The hostal is situated near the arena and an easy walk to town or the train station. As we have found throughout Spain, the hostal is very clean. The staff here is extremely friendly and made this a wonderful rest spot to nurse my sore knee.

Das Hostel liegt ein wenig Außerhalb. Der Ort ist fußläufig erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind einfach ausgestattet. Ablagemöglichkeiten sind vorhanden. Zimmer mit Dusche. Diese sind leider teilweise sehr verschmutzt. Frühstück wird angeboten. Hier gab es einen Teller mit 2x Brot ein wenig Marmelade, etwas Schinken und Käse sowie einen Orangensaft. Kaffee wurde nachgereicht.

Es un hostal de 2 estrellas que no se merece esa categoría, se merce mucho más. Está a la entrada de Sahagún, en el camino de Santiago. Tiene estacionamiento gratuito y también un lugar seguro donde guardar las bicicletas. Las habitaciones están bastante bien: amplias, limpias, con TV y aire acondicionado. Si necesitas secador u otra cosa, te lo facilitan sin problemas. El check-in fue rápido y amable. Cenamos muy bien en el hostal, por solo 15€ por persona. Además, cuando llegamos, cansados por el camino, pedimos unas bebidas y nos ofrecieron unas raciones de embutido para picar, que no nos cobraron. La verdad es que es un sitio muy agradable y sus empleados son excelentes en el trato. La atención ha sido fantástica. Si volvemos por la zona, repetiremos seguro!
