Havisham House

Where do I start?! I had long coveted staying in this extremely appealing B&B for my birthday stay including a day out at Bletchley Park. This was based on the fact I love the book Great Expectations and the decor looked divine. Well I was not disappointed! An absolutely gorgeous, tasteful, superbly adorned house which I found stunning. The owner, Adam, is an absolute diamond who made us feel so welcome from the minute we turned up, he genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. Havisham House was as warm and cosy as he was. Adam knew it was my birthday and the day we were going to Bletchley Park he so kindly had bought be a gift and a card. Totally unexpected and really not necessary, but hugely appreciated. Adam was able to offer advice on where to eat, he knows his stuff, we were delighted with where he suggested. Honestly, we were blown away by the high end, totally top notch house, absolutely beautiful and Adam’s hospitality is superb - I’d have pinched him and brought him back with me up North, but I’m not sure he would have been too keen !! I highly recommend and I want to go back later next year. Loved every minute of our stay!

We had yet another fabulous stay at Havisham House. This is such a gorgeous guest house where you are made to feel very welcome and to treat it as your own home. Adam was again a lovely and generous host, and we were very fortunate to also be spoilt by his mother who looked after us fantastically. This is fast becoming an annual ritual for us now so we’ll hopefully see you next year!

This is my fourth stay at Haversham House but won’t be my last, I look forward to my annual trip to a musical event at The Stables. Haversham House and Adam have become part of that experience, The house is beautiful, comfortable and spotless. It is a haven of calm. The continental breakfast is exactly to my taste. Woburn is a small village with a good choice of places to eat and to take advantage of the range of activities in the area.

Excellent place to stay and Adam, the host made our stay special, he made us feel very welcome and at ease. The place is fantastic and decorated to a very high standard. Our room was perfect and with the use of the lounge, dinning room and kitchen, what more could you ask for. Will definitely be going back, great location, easy parking, lovely village.

Beautifully loved house. Adam was an amazing host. Rooms cosy and very well kept and everything was so clean. Hence it being loved. It was home from home and made to feel welcome and no awkwardness in walking round and using kitchen and the living room. Will be back. Thank you Adam.

Adam gave us a very warm welcome. The whole house was beautiful, every where was very well decorated and extremely clean, we spent time in the sitting room before we went out for our meal than came back and finished our evening back in the living room. Had a very good night's sleep in the very comfy beds. Than Adam made us a lovely breakfast of eggs ceral, fruit, toast crossiants, making us feel very welcome. Will definitely come back to stay. The house and rooms are exceptional, and Adam a wonderful host.
