"I enjoyed my stay here. The room is comfortable and staff friendly. The place is good for running because the area is great for outdoors so I spent one morning jogging around the streets of Lyttelton. The sign advertising the Guest House on the streets is very good because it led me to the home. I found the home comforting and breakfast is excellent. I was told that I forgot takkies there but they someone put them where I did not know that they were there. I left them on the floor but someone must have removed them there and put them somewhere else hidden. We are busy people, it would be nice if the staff do not hide our stuff because we have no time to be opening places that we did not open when we got there. We focus on things we organized ourselves and I have never left stuff at a hotel before so I felt disorganized and inconvenienced when called to come back to the house when I was far on the highway. Teach your staff to kindly leave our stuff alone (and not hide them) when we are there. Generally, a good experience. Thanks."

"Staff were excellent especially Marionè, Melisane and Natasha who went the extra mile to make our stay great. The owner Mr Malan and GM Marioné walked the grounds daily and were on hand to take feedback or attend to requests. David and Sakkie who waited on us were great, unobtrusive but available when needed. David in particular deserves praise as nothing was problem whether it was a warming fire that was needed or an extra large glass of water or information on local amenities. Those who have seen my reviews, know that 5 stars is high praise indeed for me but the service here deserves it."
