Hotel is less than 2km from Huanghua Airport T2. However this is also the challenge as taxi driver refused to send. And the free pick up service from airport is not useful for foreigner as I tried to arrange before the travel but there was no reply from the hotel. Free service from hotel to airport should be no issue. Toilet blockage is also an issue. Other than the above negative sides, everything else are fine.

First, they got the address wrong. The building is A3; not A2. Informed the hotel to change, but they just ignored it.Apparently, there are many operators in the same apmt building, so quite tricky to find the right one. I got scared of my life when we asked one lady and she said the Qingman Hotel is no longer in operation; luckily they just ‘relocated’. Fuhhhh. Anyway, Airport transfer was very convenient.

Trip dot com and hotel messed up my booking. Arrived at 12 midnight and counter staff insisted thar the hotel does not have my booking. Made me pay again to stay and I had no choice. Trip dot com apologised for the oversight and awarded me 300 coins or 3 dollars for the inconvenience. I am still waiting for my refund which they say will take up to weeks.
I expect better coordination between Trip dot com and the hotel, and better than 3 dollars for the inconvenience caused....which is regrettable.
Other than that hotel is good for overnight stay. Provided free transport to metro to link up with train for onward journey to Zhangjiajie.

A huge room with electric curtains and comfortable bed. I arrived late and had just arrived in China without any meals being served on the plane. They offered to order food for me on a food APP and had it delivered to the front desk and then brought it up to my room. Very kind, helpful people working there.
The first time it might be a little tricky to find the hotel as it is inside a building near another hotel, but all the locals know the place and just ask anyone and they’ll lead you there.
The next morning enjoyed a free shuttle to the airport to catch the Maglev to the South in Station.
Everything about the hotel experience was great.
