I genuinely wanted to enjoy my stay here, but unfortunately, the experience fell short in several important areas. From the moment we arrived, the service felt distant and unwelcoming. We were given tea and then simply directed to our room, with no warmth to make us feel comfortable after our travels. There is an overall lack of energy and hospitality was disappointing. Security was also a major concern. The front door is always left open, meaning anyone can walk straight into the building. It’s unsettling to know that people can freely access the hallways, especially on the ground floor where the rooms are located. The amenities were another disappointment. The air conditioning and heater are confusing and difficult to operate, with no clear indicators on how to adjust anything. It took unnecessary effort just to get the temperature right. The location, unfortunately, also added stress to our stay. The hotel is in an older neighbourhood that’s difficult to navigate, and even taxi drivers struggled to find a correct drop-off point. At night, the surrounding alleys feel uncomfortable and potentially unsafe, especially for women walking back to the hotel. While the interior design shows that care was put into the aesthetic, I genuinely hope the hotel builds on that foundation by improving its service, safety, and overall experience. There’s real potential here, and with some thoughtful changes, future guests could have a much more positive stay.

What an experience! Amazing hotel with great history in convenient and quiet location. The room was incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated. Super comfortable bed and very helpful staff. Would definitely stay again!
