Atour Light Hotel is located in the heart of Huang Xing Pedestrian Street, a Changsha foodie paradise. The location is a little hard to find since the entrance is in an alley, but still a great location nonetheless. The hotel is new and clean. I chose a room without windows as the receptionist explained it would be quieter. Instead of a real window, the “window” look out into a fake garden, which I thought it was a nice touch. Besides the usual complimentary toiletries, the hotel also offer heated eye masks and surplus drinks in the refrigerator. The free laundry service is also a plus. When checking out, the reception offered more water and snacks. Overall, I am very satisfied with Atour Light Hotel and would recommend it to my friends and family when visiting Changsha.

Enjoyed my stay at this boutique hotel so much I didn't want to leave and can say its the best part of my Changsha holiday!! The room was comfortable, lay-out well though out, spacious and clean with good amenities all round. One can also control the temperature of the air conditioning well unlike many other hotels. Only gripe is that chairs in the room were not ergonomic, with no back support. And a big short-out to the service level of the front office staff - they were friendly, hospitable, accommodating and efficient always - I have never met such a stellar/impressive team! However, do note that location was an 11 yuan taxi ride or 15-20 walk to IFS mall/Huangxing Pedestrain street, which can be daunting after a tiring down of sightseeing. And although free laundry services is provided, ironing was not included and the cords on two of my dresses came unraveled. Fortunately, they were old dresses and it was still OK to simply cut the cords off. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed my 5 nights stay at this boutique hotel. It was very memorable and I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Changsha!
