Hôtels proches de Blake＇s Wood, Chelmsford

Stayed for one night bed and breakfast. Arrived by bus from Witham train station and the stop was conveniently located outside. Very friendly welcome from staff who showed me to the room and explained about breakfast, the night porter, etc. Room clean and comfortable with nice toiletries in bathroom. Slept well with the bed being comfortable and the hotel being quiet. Excellent breakfast with very friendly staff again and easy checkout. Normally stay at a chain hotel in the area but will consider staying again.

We held my Mum's 90th birthday at Ivy Hill Hotel, it was the perfect venue. The events team ensured the day was planned and ran perfectly. The staff were attentive in the background (the perfect balance). We chose afternoon tea which was really lovely and the team ensured that our dietry requirements and preferences were met exactly. The weather was fabulous and the party were able to sit outside and socialise and we were not rushed in the slightest. Thank you to all the staff for assisting in making it a celebration to remember.

Nous n'avions pas prévu de rester ici mais j'avais réservé nous au Stansted Holiday Inn Express la nuit erronée, donc Chrissy à Stansted nous a trouvé gentilment une chambre pour la nuit à Braintree, comme nous avions un vol précoce le lendemain. L'hôtel est très confortable et très confortable, et il est très confortable et très confortable. Nous avons essayé la carvery Toby, mais ils ne se sont probablement pas montés à pied parce qu'ils étaient si occupés, alors nous sommes retournés à l'hôtel pour voir ce qu'ils pouvaient se débarrasser pour nous. Le menu était très limité, car beaucoup d'articles étaient indisponibles (pas sûr pourquoi?) Nous avons eu des ailes et de la soupe spéciaux pour commencer si délicieusement et magnifiquement présenté. Le petit déjeuner est très bon, mais le chap a dit qu'il nous laisserait prendre un café et des articles froids pour nous prendre, car ils étaient complimentaires.

Our home from home stay We booked the laurels via my work employee benefits portal but had a look at a few reviews prior to visiting. Let me tell you how relaxing and quiet this stay was. The owner Stan met us at the door when we arrived, was friendly and sociable. The house was immaculate and extremely well presented. Guests have the ability to use the main lounge and a tasty breakfast is served in the morning in the dining room. There was a great selection of food and it was fresh and tasty and cooked to our preference. Our room was the luxury deluxe double and was very comfortable and clean with some little luxury additions of body wash and lotion ( and essentials for the ladies ) The queen bed and pillows enable a lovely deep sleep. The en-suite was a wet room and hot water on tap with some super soft bath towels. I had three showers and hot water available at each time. The brilliant furnishings and home comforts of the room added to the relaxing stay. However I must comment on the host’s Stan and Tricia. They made our stay all the more enjoyable their obvious high standards and pride of their BnB is extremely evident and is the main reason we will be back again in the future. They are extremely communicative and I felt they were available during our stay for anything we needed. We had struggled to get a taxi due to the village location and Stan advised us he would have fetched us. ( next time we will arrange this, Thanks Stan ) The little added touch of the purified water in the decanter in the fridge and the tray of biscuits and selections of tea and coffee in our room felt like a luxury. The Dyson fan was a great addition during a warm evening. The Laurels is a lovely beautifully decorated and well situated place to stay . If you are looking for a home from home break then look no further than the Laurels because it has all you need. I would highly recommend it. See you again soon Tricia and Stan. Ari and James

C'était 4 sur 5 parce que 2 lits simples Réservé une chambre standard et ils n'avaient pas de lits doubles laissés Filles sur le check Inn et bar brillant Doriane et Bryony Sue grand au petit déjeuner aussi espère vous revoir bientôt Ps le WiFi était grand 😉 il a traversé ce que j'avais besoin à faire utiliser à nouveau lors de la travaille dans la zone

Un beau endroit pour séjourner avec un étonnant bâtiment et des terrains. La chambre était propre, spacieuse et calme. Le petit déjeuner était très bon avec le service.
