Disaster!! We spent there two nights while visiting Chengdu.
On our first night, the automatic light in the MIDDLE OF THE ENTRANCE OF THE ROOM, was NOT going off. My girlfriend from Argentina called the reception and they sent a guy from maintenance or concierge to help and he told my girlfriend that IT WAS LIKE THAT! And gave us to sleeping masks to avoid the light!!!!! What a JOKE! Is that even real that someone can tell you something like that? Completely disrespectful, how can we possible believe or actually pay for a room where the light never goes off!!!! Can you even imagine? The worst is to think that that man may have seen my girlfriend and just a girl and try to lie to make his job easier..
I went down again almost 2 am (we are tourist who need to sleep for walk all day long right?) and asked to change the room. I was given one that was not even the same quality. I went again now pass 2 am and finally they gave me a better room.
Due to being completely tired we couldn’t finish our itinerary and we had to stay one more day in Chengdu. We arrived around 23 and we asked to extend one day our staying and pay the same price, we obviously did not want to do again the baggages as we needed to rest. We imagined that after such a disaster they would totally gave us one more they when the hotel was not even a quarter full.
For disgust, we spent AGAIN 1 hour so it’s now 12 in the night, asking the reception girls that was in contact with the hotel manager to please respect the price and let us go to rest and kept the room. They wanted us to charge full price of the room they gave us as compliment for their mistakes! And 4 times more what we paid our actual room.
Not just that, we said okay give me the original room price but they didn’t even want to respect the price we pay in trip app.
So we book another hotel had to do again baggages and slept again 2 am to wake up early to see the city.
Two nights sleeping at 2 am because of this disastrous place. The hotel manager on the 3rd of June during that night on shift refuse to even negotiate a discount, the service was completely absent 0 disaster we cannot recommend LESS that place. For a final difference of 80 yuan they didn’t agree to even give us the first room.
Between room the most funny thing is that the only difference is the price. I told them we are not going to use the room almost we just need to NOT DO BAGGAGES AGAIN. They didn’t care.
The concept of service and helping and making people happy doesn’t exist. I wish I could ask for a full refund as I paid to now be exhausted, no one should paid for that. DISASTER!
