Avis : The Empress Premier Chiang Mai

C'est un petit bijou niché près du vieux quartier des bazars. Un peu vieillot, certes, mais le luxe de l'espace compense largement. Globalement, je suis ravi de mon arrivée ; ils offrent même un assortiment de snacks gratuits ! Incroyable ! La salle de sport est grande, la piscine fait 25 à 30 mètres de long, il y a même un sauna dans les douches, la chambre est spacieuse et la salle de bain dispose d'une baignoire et d'une douche séparées. Un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Il y a une odeur de vieux hôtel, un peu musquée, dans les parties communes ; ça vient peut-être des tissus d'ameublement, mais ça ne me dérange pas du tout.

La salle est grande et l'environnement est magnifique.

Excellent établissement, très bien situé, à quelques pas du marché nocturne. L'hôtel a offert un surclassement gratuit en chambre, un panier-cadeau et une corbeille de fruits, un geste vraiment sympathique, signe distinctif d'un établissement 5 étoiles. Le personnel est extrêmement courtois et serviable. Un hôtel incontournable.

Un hôtel charmant, moderne et propre, situé à proximité du marché de nuit. Le personnel est accueillant et le petit-déjeuner copieux propose des œufs, des gaufres, des fruits, des légumes et des plats chauds. L'hôtel bénéficie d'un emplacement calme et les chambres sont paisibles.

La suite était parfaite pour moi, le personnel était accueillant et tout était parfait. Très neuf et bien meublé.

nous restons dans le même hôtel pendant 3 ans et nous nous sentons toujours comme à LA MAISON. Le personnel est professionnel et très poli La piscine est super Grande variété de choix au petit-déjeuner buffet

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est souvent confondu avec celui de l'Empress Hotel, les chauffeurs de taxi ne parvenaient souvent pas à nous envoyer à la porte d'entrée de l'hôtel. Le petit déjeuner est très basique. Le service est généralement correct.

Une grosse tache dans mon drap, je suppose qu'ils n'ont pas été nettoyés ni changés avant mon enregistrement. J'arrive une heure plus tôt mais ils me réservent quand même une chambre. Le drain dans la salle de bain est un cauchemar. Ils m'ont facturé 1 000 pour un départ tardif (17 heures).

I had a very unique 5-day stay at the Empress Premier. Here’s the lowdown, which I provide affectionately. The rooms and the hotel itself is clearly decorated by a Chinese grandma…in 1987. This is perhaps the most unsustainable hotel on earth…and antiquated. Double wrapped bars of soap. Tiny disposable bottles for shampoo. Paper based accounting. The food is like your 8 year old nephew trying to cook for you. White bread. Potato chips. Lots of mayo. See the pic of their tuna sandwich poolside. It’s cute but fairly unappetizing. The breakfast buffet was similar. Lots of effort but not great. Service is like they have no training at all. My bathroom was cleaned but had 5 large visible female hairs all over the floor. The front desk staff doesn’t acknowledge passersby. The doorman is often absent and you’re unsure if he works there. They are all kind but fairly oblivious. The facilities are barren and perfunctory. The pool is decent and the gym is great but the lounges and other common areas are ick. Spa costs are bananas for this city. Room service options are weak. Internet is painfully awful. Guests tend to be obese walking fossils or party crowds. Since nearly all rooms are adjoining you will hear loud shouting or persistent coughing. And you will hear the marching band practicing from the school across the road. Location is outside the crazy area, which is nice. Ownership needs to stop squeezing profit so hard and invest back into this hotel. Could be so much better. I liked my stay here and I will return despite all the experiences. Whatever star rating is claimed is wrong. This is a friendly and effortful two star.

We enjoy our stay there, comfortable and cosy. Staff are nice and helpful.

The room is huge and super clean! Staff are friendly. They even help me to pack the welcome gifts into a card-box in order to take it with my flight. There are varies choose in the breakfast. It is close to the night market, just about 10 minutes walk.

We hav booked four rooms and stayed at the new wing, all is well especially the spacious n clean room gave us a relaxing made already. There are fresh fruit basket in the room too. My friend enjoyed the big swimming pool very much. Breakfast choices were OK too. We would consider to choose this hotel again.

Very good to be upgraded to executive suite. The room is huge and surprised to get the gift from the hotel. It’s a traditional hotel but gym facilities is quite sufficient

Excellent service by Boon at the front reception desk when checking in, was able to check in earlier without prior arrangement which was appreciated. Received a gift basket as well, exceptional and very grateful. Hotel itself has a nice foyer and entry, and room was comfortable with a good breakfast and restaurant. Would stay again.
