We came for the Elephants but were inspired by the environment, facilities, and staff. With a 5-night stay we were able to experience almost all the resort has to offer. Opting for the ”Explorer arrival” I worried it would feel ”over the top” but instead was a wonderful experience and really set the stage for a wonderful stay. We chose the resort for the elephant experiences and they certainly delivered! In the world we live in these elephants really are living their best lives. Numerous opportunities with direct interaction with these wonderful animals and a genuine education from the staff, guides, and mahouts. On top of this, breathtaking sights and sounds, meticulously maintained property, tasty food, and attentive staff. The Anantara Golden Triangle earned its high marks and price tag. Highlights were the quality of activities. Talented guides and personalized tours with small size (if not one-on-one). Quality of food was excellent and great service. Depending on plan, it may get a little confusing on what is and what is not included can be a touch confusing but manageable. The only comment we have is the main restaurant has the same menu for lunch as dinner which can risk being redundant. Additionally the second restaurant is not included in the plan and though they suggest there is additional charge, in reality it is full price with no ”adjustment” for dining plan. We still really enjoyed going to that restaurant and would do it again but.....could manage the value a little better. But these were very small comments in an otherwise lifetime experience for us. Thanks to the entire team from Bartenders to Mahouts! I hope we can visit again!

We stayed at the Siam Triangle Hotel as part of our organized birding tour in northern Thailand. The hotel sits right beside the road and has a very spacious lobby. Our room was a standard king with river view and small balcony. The air was so thick with smoke however it was impossible to be outside without a mask. The poor air quality exists all over northern Thailand not just Chiang Saen but be aware it's a real problem in the winter months (Dec-March). Our room was adequately sized with modern bathroom and comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast was very nice with made to order eggs and coffee specialty drinks - a huge upgrade from the powdered stuff we were usually served. It's a nice hotel, - just unfortunate we couldn't be outside to enjoy the view.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est relativement facile à trouver. Il est à moins d'une centaine de mètres du bord de la route. Il y a aussi un espace ouvert pour le stationnement. Le nom chinois du panneau à l'intersection est Thai Palace Hotel. La chambre est ok, j'ai commandé le grand lit dans le bâtiment principal, et la cabane unifamiliale. Les chambres sont équipées de chaussons et d'articles de toilette. Si vous êtes propreté ou amis plus exigeants, il est recommandé d'apporter la vôtre. . Les conditions sanitaires sont correctes. . Il est normal que ce genre d'endroit passe par Xiaoqiang. Les personnes ayant un haut degré de propreté peuvent devoir faire attention à la poussière. Personnellement, j'ai l'impression que la chambre est bonne dans l'ensemble. L'eau du bain est également suffisante. Le petit déjeuner est servi dans le restaurant à droite de l'intersection ! Ce restaurant peut également commander de la nourriture à des heures normales et le rapport qualité-prix est assez élevé

The facility and staff: 5 stars! For one breakfast, a staff made our teenage son a breakfast sandwich because it was close to closing time and he wasn't awake yet. The beds were soft but firm and the pillows not to high. Very comfortable! The food was average, not great but not bad either. Only two negatives: the shower and toilet door is glass and some parts of it is clear, so people can see in and out. Which is weird if you have kids with you or a friend in the same room. The others, the shower temperature is really hard to adjust. Overall, 4.5 stars! Enjoyed our stay.

Вид из окна на Лаос просто вау. Это не забываем о, можно смотреть часами, вечером картинка не хуже. Рядом пирс, с него ходят лодки по Меконгу, мы сплавали на полчаса в Лаос, очень забавно. Рядом нескольких едален, недорого. Всё закрывается очень рано, хотели сделать массаж, салон не работал. Поехали в город, там всё работает до 17-30. Нашли несколько кафе, но дорого. В номере много мелких муравьёв и видели таракана. В номере есть чайник, холодильник. Рядом 7/11, можно купить перекус и поесть в номере.

Il est loin du centre-ville. Ce n'est pas la distance que vous ne pouvez pas faire. J'ai trouvé des migrants en route. Sur la rive du fleuve, les gens 々 mangent. C'est une image impressionnante. C'est un toupet !

Les chambres sont équipées de chaussons et d'articles de toilette. Si vous êtes propreté ou amis plus exigeants, il est recommandé d'apporter la vôtre. . Les conditions sanitaires sont correctes. . Il est normal que ce genre d'endroit passe par Xiaoqiang. Les personnes ayant un haut degré de propreté peuvent devoir faire attention à la poussière. Personnellement, j'ai l'impression que la chambre est bonne dans l'ensemble. L'eau du bain est également suffisante. Le petit déjeuner est servi dans le restaurant à droite de l'intersection ! Ce restaurant peut également commander de la nourriture à des heures normales et le rapport qualité-prix est assez élevé

We came for the Elephants but were inspired by the environment, facilities, and staff. With a 5-night stay we were able to experience almost all the resort has to offer. Opting for the ”Explorer arrival” I worried it would feel ”over the top” but instead was a wonderful experience and really set the stage for a wonderful stay. We chose the resort for the elephant experiences and they certainly delivered! In the world we live in these elephants really are living their best lives. Numerous opportunities with direct interaction with these wonderful animals and a genuine education from the staff, guides, and mahouts. On top of this, breathtaking sights and sounds, meticulously maintained property, tasty food, and attentive staff. The Anantara Golden Triangle earned its high marks and price tag. Highlights were the quality of activities. Talented guides and personalized tours with small size (if not one-on-one). Quality of food was excellent and great service. Depending on plan, it may get a little confusing on what is and what is not included can be a touch confusing but manageable. The only comment we have is the main restaurant has the same menu for lunch as dinner which can risk being redundant. Additionally the second restaurant is not included in the plan and though they suggest there is additional charge, in reality it is full price with no ”adjustment” for dining plan. We still really enjoyed going to that restaurant and would do it again but.....could manage the value a little better. But these were very small comments in an otherwise lifetime experience for us. Thanks to the entire team from Bartenders to Mahouts! I hope we can visit again!

Вид из окна на Лаос просто вау. Это не забываем о, можно смотреть часами, вечером картинка не хуже. Рядом пирс, с него ходят лодки по Меконгу, мы сплавали на полчаса в Лаос, очень забавно. Рядом нескольких едален, недорого. Всё закрывается очень рано, хотели сделать массаж, салон не работал. Поехали в город, там всё работает до 17-30. Нашли несколько кафе, но дорого. В номере много мелких муравьёв и видели таракана. В номере есть чайник, холодильник. Рядом 7/11, можно купить перекус и поесть в номере.

The facility and staff: 5 stars! For one breakfast, a staff made our teenage son a breakfast sandwich because it was close to closing time and he wasn't awake yet. The beds were soft but firm and the pillows not to high. Very comfortable! The food was average, not great but not bad either. Only two negatives: the shower and toilet door is glass and some parts of it is clear, so people can see in and out. Which is weird if you have kids with you or a friend in the same room. The others, the shower temperature is really hard to adjust. Overall, 4.5 stars! Enjoyed our stay.
