Hob Knob

One of the best by far, you pay for it but it’s worth it! Abby is the best hostess, the breakfast is delicious and made fresh to order. They do not miss a detail in making you feel right at home and comfortable. The rooms are very clean and everything smells so good! We would definitely stay here again.

The Hob Knob is a perfect quaint boutique hotel with a “homey” feeling. The staff were wonderful! From the front desk to cooks to housekeeping staff..everyone went over the top to make our experience excellent. We especially enjoyed sitting on the beautiful porch having coffee in the morning and the wonderful breakfast scones! Also the beds are super comfy! Hope to return soon!

What an amazing Inn, staff and location. Abbey the GM is an extremely capable Innkeeper or Hotelier. Not sure which applies to luxury boutique hotels. She answered all questions promptly. The rooms were gorgeous. Ours a soft soothing yellow with luxurious linens and pillows that are simply cloud like a pampering touch you didn’t know you needed. Delightful breakfast staff was like eating at an affluent aunty’s. If you are a fan of Jaws they have a coffee table book in the garden room that kept me occupied for hours with insights. Our bellman Omar was delightful, as were three of Abbey’s top dining recommendations informal: seafood shanty, Desserts - the Atlantic, Upscale 19 Oyster Bar. All were great and made for an outstanding visit. Thank you team Hob Knob.

at The Hob Knob.....Abby, Nathan and staff were all so caring, considerate, helpful and supportive...each day after whatever we had done, it felt like "returning home"... I/'we loved HK, am not sure I would use "luxurious"...but other adjectives come to mind...warm, cozy, appealing, inviting and very well maintained!....Each room is slightly different but all carry an old fashion, MV antique feel...comfortable, roomy, lovely bedding...and little added touches that let you know the property has a true caring for the guest ...there are so many areas to sit.....the one that scored points was the outside porch...comfy couches and chairs allow moments to drift away. Blocks away is the center of Edgartown which makes a great walk...no demand is too much, breakfast basically made to order, information offered willingly, help given when asked and the best banana bread, cookies and other items tea/coffee every afternoon. This is a special place on a very special island...cared for lovingly by abby,a special manager...thank you all...a gift to remember..."home"......

We've stayed in enough hotels and resorts to know when a place is truly special. We found one such place at the Hob Knob on Martha's Vineyard. Hob Knob is as quaint, comfortable and convenient as you can find on the "Vineyard". Each of their 18 guest rooms is charming in their own way, and the made-to-order breakfasts adds a wonderful start to your day. It's not hard to understand why Hob Know has been awarded a prestigious Michelin Key. GM Abby Garden and team makes you feel like family. What more could you ask for? We highly recommend it.
