Parkers House Bed & Breakfast

What can I say? This was a beautiful place to stay. The room we were allocated was stunning and furnishings looked brand new and very classy. I’m aware that our host Tina had a difficult weekend but despite that, she was kind, friendly and lovely to talk to. Thank you so much. The direction were spot on, and the location is fabulous for the pubs and eateries in Newtown. Highly recommended. Will definitely come back here.

The instructions for checking in were easy. We had rooms 2 and 5 and both were excellent, they looked brand new furnished and were spotless. The beds were very comfortable with a choice of pillows which were very comfy. There was a bosch coffee machine in the room and kettle and lots of tea and coffee choices. There was a hair dryer and TV. The bathroom was very modern with a great shower and good quality shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. But it was the small details like ladies toiletries and towel dryer that made a difference aswell as the lovely staff and friendly service. Breakfast was a delicious with a large choice of cereals, fresh fruit bowl or full cooked english. It felt more like a hotel but without a reception. Newtown is a lovely little town and this b&b is right in the middle with easy access to the train station or car park. The view from our rooms wasnt brilliant but it didnt affect our stay.

What a delightful B&B - nothing was too much trouble! The rooms are lovely and it has everything one requires for a great stay! The breakfast was DELICIOUS and caters for vegetarians and vegans… but also us meat eaters! The B&Bis not for those who struggle getting up and down stairs … that’s NOT the owners fault but properties of this type and age have steep staircases! There is free parking literally a stones throw away… A word of warning - Newtown is very busy at night and people are out enjoying themselves and of course when alcohol is involved, it can get rather noisy outside but again the owners have tried their best to try and keep the noise to a minimum with double glazing and heavy curtains but it’s worth taking some earplugs or just have an extra glass of wine yourself … I can’t fault the property or the service! And the air conditioning unit was a godsend on what was the hottest night of the year so far! Thank you to all at Parkers 👍

Been staying at Parkers over the past few weeks. Tina and the girls have all made me feel welcome. I have been in various rooms throughout my stay and each room have all been up to excellent standard. I have been able to have a food sleep every night due to the comfy beds. I will be booking for more weeks while I am working local and would not hesitate to recommend this B&B to others.

The rooms are decorated to a very high standard. We stayed in Room 1, which has a lovely spacious en-suite with a big shower. The shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were all lovely products. The water was always a good temperature, and so was the bedroom, as we could open a window or use the heater as we liked. It was so nice to have the window seat in the room overlooking the town, and the bed was extremely comfortable, we slept very well every night we were there. The breakfasts were great each morning, and the staff we’re always very friendly and helpful at breakfast, and via text message and email. The B&B has a self check in and check out system, and the staff were very good at explained how it all worked to me on my first visit. It was good to be able to access the breakfast room at any time, as we didn’t want to eat in the room. It was nice for us to be able to quietly come and go as we liked, and the central location was perfect for us as we don’t drive (easy to access from town, the bus station and train station, and plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants near by). We will definitely be staying here again when we visit family in the future. Thank you!

Everything about this B&B was great. Very luxurious. Spotlessly clean, lots of little touches. Great night's sleep. Much better than a hotel chain. Breakfast was fantastic, so much choice, everything freshly made. Staff very polite and attentive - nothing was too much trouble. We've already booked our next stay.
